Offshore Structural Engineer

Petroplan are assisting a client in the search for an Offshore Structural Engineer to work a staff position. The client is a mid-sized operator with offices in Central London, easily commutable if you are based outer-London.

The role will be involved with a majority of the engineering and commercial aspects of the company in pre and post-contract stages within assigned projects.

Selected candidates will need to have a proven ability within Offshore structural engineering, particularly in FPSO/FSO Design which includes bridges, substructures and topsides. Technical knowledge should stretch from design through to installation.

Proficiency in SESAM, ANSYS and various other tools for structural analysis is desirable.

Person Specification:

  • 10-15 years minimum experience
  • Offshore Structural Knowledge
  • Commissioning & Site Experience
  • Previous experience working for an Oil & Gas operator
  • Salary: D.O.E
  • Location: London
