Senior Installation Methods Engineer
Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Senior Installation Methods Engineer to join in office/offshore on a 12 Month initial contract. The client is a major EPC within the energy industry with offices all over the globe. As Senior Installation Methods Engineer you will provide Technical Support to the FEED, Installation and Pre-Commissioning team.

As such we are recruiting for a Senior Installation Methods Engineer with at least 5/10 years experience who is comfortable working offshore with the ambition/drive to succeed working for one of the world's biggest EPCs, conducting their standards.


Location: London/Offshore - Option of European Office
Status: Contract
Rate: D.O.E

Core Competencies/Requirements:
* Minimum Engineering Degree from University/College
* Minimum of 5 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry
* Proven ability to approve and execute construction design plans offshore
* Complete Subsea activities and implement corrective action if needed

Our client is looking for a Principal Process Engineer with SAF experience to be based in Woking.

  • Must have Synthetic Aviation Fuel (SAF) plant experience at either Study/ Concept or FEED or Detailed Design/ EPC phase and have awareness of Licensed technologies
  • Technology experience includes but not limited to Hydro processing, pyrolysis, gasification, FT, HDS, HDN, HDO etc
  • Will interface with the Energy Transition team and Studies, FEED or EPC projects related to SAF
  • Either a Lead Engineer on a project or reporting to the Lead Engineer typically on larger projects, execute process engineering design for feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design or EPC projects.
  • Exposure to Consultancy, FEED/ Detailed Design and EPC projects.
  • Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chartered Status preferred. Significant related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil and Gas Industry and/ or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects

Job Description -

This role is to support a global Workday implementation project, you will be responsible for supporting the programme with data orientated deliverables, specifically for data extraction, conversion, and migration work. The role is offered with an hourly rate inside IR35 based in their offices near London.


Responsibilities -

  • Work with the Functional, Payroll and Technical Leads to understand the requirements and new solution design, including any localisation requirements.
  • Working closely with the Functional, Payroll and Technical Leads to agree data requirements and preparing workbooks to collect data from existing systems, in line with these requirements.
  • Support the Data Lead with the data conversion for each prototype build and final cutover, including EIB creation and loading into Workday.
  • Reporting and providing guidance on data validations and resolving data issues.
  • Collaborating across workstreams to ensure the functional team completes and is accountable for the mapping document.
  • Support the Data Lead in the creation and delivery of the plan for data conversion and migration
  • Review and analyse business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates with regards to data access, extracts and transformations.
  • Escalating any risks or issues encountered or anticipated to the Programme Management Team as early as possible, to ensure minimal impact to the wider programme.


Experience & Qualifications -

  • Workday experience is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience of similar roles, including HCM implementations & project delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel.
  • Experience of understanding conversion & migration strategies.

You must have demonstrated experience in subsea engineering on a global scale having handled meg projects both in office and on site.

Job Overview;

As Project Controls Lead you'll be responsible for reporting, ensuring sufficiently detailed, accurate plans, and cost reports are available, as well as taking responsibility for Risk Management, Assurance and Interface Management for the various projects.

  • Ensure all Group/Project Reporting requirements and met with quality input, including input to
  • Working with Project Managers and Project Leads, develop and maintain Performance Dashboards for issue to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with Project Leads to develop and maintain a systematic approach to Risk Management

Job requirements:

  • Professional Degree or equivalent experience (Engineering Degree and prior technical background would be strongly preferred)
  • Extensive Project Controls experience in the offshore oil and gas industry;
    Good knowledge and application of Planning Engineering principles;
  • Experienced through all project stages including concept, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement and construction.
  • Good understanding of the process for Risk Management & Mitigation;
  • Knowledge of design and implementation of projects;
  • The ability to consolidate project data from a number of sources for overall presentation;
