Job Profile

We are currently seeking an Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMMR) Coordinator to join an operations subsea and pipeline integrity management team. As the IMMR Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to oversee the planning phase by engaging with client contractors and aligning subsea and pipeline IRM (inspection, repair maintenance) activities with the Asset Reference Plan to optimise costs and efficiency. You will also ensure that the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) is updated with all inspection, repair and maintenance activities.

During the implementation phase of the SSPL IMMR, you will primarily manage operations from Senegal with support from the core team. Your role will involve implementing pipeline inspection and integrity operating envelope schemes for our end client. You will manage the work programs required by these schemes and report the initial results. It will be your duty to ensure that all necessary control and inspection activities are conducted and reported promptly to maintain integrity.

In cases where the results fall outside the defined acceptance criteria, you will promptly communicate them to the Integrity Management Lead and Integrity Management Engineer. This will allow the integrity engineers to assess their significance for the continued operation of the pipeline. You will also maintain a record of the results along with their assessment.

As the IMMR Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering routine progress reports on the inspection, monitoring, and control activities to our end client. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the development of the IMMR Engineer, enabling them to assume the IMMR Coordinator role within three years of the contract as part of our local content delivery. You will also be involved in the development and management of the Engineering Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

  • The implementation of subsea and pipeline inspection, repair and maintenance programmes and the detailed development of work scopes, manpower schedules and budgets.
  • Engage with the Client's Subsea Integrity Management Engineer and Contractors to align the IRM Activities with the Asset Reference Plan to optimise costs and efficiency. e. Efficiently coordinate all Contract scopes with Contractor Engineering Key Personnel
  • Perform scope closeout activities including subsea inspection anomaly reviews, delivery or input to RCA and resulting short- and long-term recommendations to protect, preserve and improve subsea system integrity and performance. Identify requirements for further engineering analysis or studies to provide Integrity Management Assurance.
  • Initiate, update and close out of MOC and/or vulnerability as required, including key SSPL assurance activities and document revisions and updates.
  • Development and training of local Senegalese capabilities. i.e., Effectively support technical upskilling of Local Engineers (for local role transitions) as part of early years and increase technical Integrity management capability in-country to perform the Work.

Minimum Experience:

Required Skills

All Engineering personnel must be degree qualified professionals (BSc/MSc/MEng/BEng) in an Engineering or Science related discipline and able to effectively collaborate, interface and communicate across multi-disciplinary teams and Contractor and Company representatives. Fields of expertise across Engineering include, but are not limited to:

  • Subsea Operations and Integrity Management
  • Subsea Systems
  • Subsea Rigid Pipeline
  • Subsea Flexible Pipe
  • Subsea Control & Hardware
  • Subsea Reliability

Experience of working under a goal based safety legislative regimes for major accident hazards i.e. Safety Cases and subsequent performance standard inspection and monitoring activities.

  • Integrity Management of Subsea Pipelines including IRM Campaigns.
  • Risk-Based Inspection Methodologies.
  • CMMS (SAP/Maximo) maintenance management systems.
  • HAZIDs, constructability, FAT, SIT, equipment tests, risk and opportunity workshops, project safety meetings and provision of mobilisation and coordination support.
  • Marine and ROV operations and the regulations applicable to IMR activities.
  • Safety Case regimes, their offshore applications and working within Operator Safety Cases.
  • ROV and Diving tooling and be able to input into bespoke offshore solutions.
  • Subsea Intervention and inspection technologies and techniques.
  • Recognising and managing execution risks and coordinating offshore intervention scopes.
  • Strong team leader and player with a respectful attitude towards company values and brand.
