Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Subsea Engineer to join in office/site on an initial contract until the end of the year. The client is a major player within the energy market with assets all over the globe. As Subsea Engineer you will provide Technical Support to the Installation and Pre-Commissioning team.
As such we are recruiting for a Subsea Engineer with between 5-10 years experience who is comfortable working offshore with the ambition/drive to succeed working for one of the world's biggest operators, conducting their standards.

We are looking for a Chief Facilities Engineer (Subsea) to provide subsea engineering input and act as subsea technical authority for our subsea developments and projects.
You will be expected to act as an integrated member of multiple development and project teams and contribute from 'within' the teams in a technical engineering capacity to ensure innovative and fit-for-purpose development concepts are identified, vetted, taken forward, and delivered in accordance with the required industry standards and company minimum requirements, which you will define. The Chief Facilities Engineer (Subsea) will act as a technical reference point for all subsea matters including interpretation of industry codes and standards, and advising on matters of design, integrity, strength, fatigue, interference analysis, etc and will be expected to propose innovative solutions to the project teams without impairing safety, integrity or other project objectives.

As a Senior Technical Professional Leader - Naval Architectural marine systems specialist, you will provide support to the Lead related to this discipline. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Design of hull systems such as cargo storage, transfer and export, slop system, drains, ballast system, inert gas and venting systems, cooling water, diesel and lube systems and the interfaces between the marine systems and other interfaces such as the turret or topsides.
