Job Opportunity - Reciprocating Compressor Specialist - Middle East

Our Client, an Operator, is currently recruiting for a Reciprocating Compressor Specialist join them on a 2-year contract that will require the candidate to be based in country on a residential basis.

The position requires the employee to monitor, review and approve (as required) EPC contractor relevant engineering/design activities. Ensures all deliverables related to reciprocating compressor package are in accordance to the projects' and company's design intent, prescribed specifications and good engineering practice and are completed within schedule.

Essential experience:

  • Oversees development of reciprocating compressor equipment selection and design concepts and ensure proper application and execution.
  • Work experience as a Reciprocating Engineer with a tier 1/major EPC Contractor or Vendor in the development of EPC deliverables
  • Carry out technical bid evaluations to ensure vendor compliance with material requisitions.
  • Work experience with an oil/gas operating company
  • Expert knowledge of codes and standards applicable to rotating equipment in oil and gas installations


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience
