Petroplan are looking to hire a FOU & Wind Turbines (WTG) Safety Engineer.

This will be a very long term contract working Monday to Friday.

The role will be based in London, Glasgow or Paris. Future site set up for the project shall be at Normandie or Saint Brieuc; when the site office is ready this will be considered as the base office.

A minimum of five years offshore wind experience is required.

Job Description

On behalf of An Oil and Gas Operator Petroplan are looking for a Management Accountant on an initial fixed term 6 month contractual basis based in their London office on a hybrid working basis.

Requirements:

Produce monthly G&A reports with commentary to London Corporate Centre and AGS

budget holders.

  • Meet with budget holders quarterly to discuss actuals and forecasts of G&A and timewriting.
  • Coordinate accurate data collection of London G&A costs within the SAP accounting system

and Cognos Management Information System - including Month end processes in SAP and

Cognos including allocations, accruals and forecasts in G&A, P&L and Cashflow.

  • Involvement in annual budget process for London general and administration costs,

timewriting and allocations.

  • Provide relevant cash flow analysis to Treasury.
  • Work closely and effectively with Group Finance to implement new group wide processes,

procedures, and systems.

  • Manage relationships with remote Accenture team to enable prompt and accurate data

postings during close and monthly reporting cycle.

  • Identify further opportunities to rationalise and outsource regular processes.

Time-writing

  • Reviewing monthly reporting on timewriting non-compliance; working with timewriters to

fix errors and correct missing timewriting.

  • Support for the monthly timewriting recharge process and validation of time written

charges.

  • Liaise with external auditors as required to assist in understanding and reviewing Head

Office accounting including the allocations certification process.

  • Analyse expenditure and make cost control recommendations.
  • Inform the annual accrual process for recharge locations.
  • Pro-actively engage in group wide Corporate Projects Ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven provider of management information and reporting.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of general and administration / head office costs.
  • SAP or similar ERP system essential.
  • Experience with MI system essential, Cognos BI desired.
  • Experience of time-based allocation systems essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel essential.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry preferable.
  • Experience of JV cost recovery and billing preferable.

Senior Process Safety Engineer

Petroplan are looking to hire a Senior Process Safety Engineer to work in West London.

This will be based on an initial 6 month contract but expected to go on longer.

The client offers a hybrid working scheme and the hourly rate is outside IR35

You will be working on the Fujairah LNG project which is at FEED stage.

Im looking for someone who can co-ordinate/Participate in HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP and other design HSE / operability / reliability studies and workshops, and close out of assigned HAZOP (and other design HSE) action items.

Ideally you will come with a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or similar engineering field.

HR Advisor
Our client a large engineering and procurement contractor is looking for an experienced and energetic HR Advisor for their office in Feltham, West London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of call for HR related queries.
  • Producing offer letters, contracts and manage onboarding process.
  • Management of all starters and leavers, welcoming new colleagues and staff transferring from overseas ensuring a seamless new starter set up.
  • Management and maintenance of HR system. Running reports for senior management as required.
  • Assistance with general Training and Development administration and record keeping.
  • Managing the holiday records, sickness reporting and TOIL reporting for the HR Department
  • Maintaining employee and general files.
  • Produce and submit monthly payroll sheet liaise with HRSS Global and payroll team.
  • Creating new personnel files for new staff, ensuring all information is scanned and saved on the HR Drive/system.
  • Management of the Home Office spread sheet to ensure all visas and passports are in date.
  • Administration of Benefits schemes, including liaison with benefits providers.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • To manage the Home Office sponsorship licenses. Including:
    1. Issue certificates of sponsorship
    2. Ensuring continuing eligibility to work in the UK for all regional employees
    3. Manage all immigration records, ensuring that the company is adhering to UK Immigration law.
  • Management of Kronos system for HR support. Updating Kronos profiles as required and providing general assistance to employees.
  • Request employment references for all new starters.
  • Producing weekly headcount reports and issuing to relevant departments.
  • Creating of reports on HR metrics (e.g. turnover and retention rates).
  • Ensuring GDPR legislation is adhered to within the HR department.
  • Auditing personnel files to ensure relevant and up to date information is held.
  • To carry out any other work Human Resources related activities as required, noting that the Manager will pass on support level HR duties to assist his/her efforts in performing their own role.



Must have:

  • HR Generalist background/experience.
  • Excellent customer service ethos and professional attitude.
  • Good Communication.
  • High level admin skills especially including Excel. Must be proficient in V look up, pivot tables. and other intermediate level excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Adobe pro, Word, to include mail merge and bulk other mail out techniques.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, ideally but not essentially SAP or Oracle.
