Job Description

• Provide Quality Engineering support to the project operating country or regional cluster assigned. In-particular provide:
• Standardisation - through the deployment and governance (self-verification) of global Quality standards throughout the value-chain in-country and / or regional cluster assigned.
• Management System - deployment of global Quality management system and creation of in-country and / or regional cluster procedures to support such including governance (self-verification) and where required coordination of external audit body accreditation (i.e., ISO9001).
• Performance - Cascade and measure / report defined Quality KPI's at in-country and / or in cluster level including participation in related performance reviews; Ensure capture and robust resolution of Non-conformances; Conduct on-site project construction / commissioning Quality assurance oversight.
• Organisation & Capabilities - Develop in-country and / or cluster Quality capability at personal and team levels as appropriate to enhance 'Quality culture'.

Key Criteria

• Ideally university degree qualified or otherwise qualified to an appropriate higher level of education in a related engineering discipline - extensive experience in a Quality Engineering role with lesser formal qualification would be considered where directly relevant.
• Ideally a chartered Quality professional or similar professional body demonstrating professional field of knowledge and experience.
• Essential that the individual has held the position and gained experience as a Quality professional (ideally Quality Engineer or above) within a similar industrial customer focused environment i.e. Construction & Commissioning, Electrical, Software, Supply chain (Automotive or similar also considered). English & host country language skills essential (spoken and written communication).
• Knowledge of Project Quality assurance; root cause analysis (problem solving); ISO9001 Quality Management System creation and maintenance (auditing); Supply chain Quality all highly desired and beneficial.
• Customer focused and agile in mind-set. Able to self-manage within a fast-moving environment and decide own priorities with minimal supervision. Always seeking to drive improvement and value to the business through strong teamwork and collaboration.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience of working with the Electric Vehicle charging segment would be highly desirable - otherwise similar customer facing, volume manufacturing, high reliability environments also beneficial.
• Communication / Presentation skills and experience - able to communicate competently throughout levels of the organisation (written and verbal).
• Having worked within a global matrix organisation.
• Experience of working within a large installed footprint, field service environment.
• Experience of setting up new Quality systems within a growth environment.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The GPC (Global Project Centre) Co-ordinator reports to the GPC Administration Manager, supporting all GPC&AP (Asia Pacific) London business units. Coordinators assigned to a project will also report to their assigned Project Manager and team.
As assistants, Coordinators are responsible for a variable and diverse range of tasks and are required to have skills at the appropriate level to match. Coordinators ensure that team members are fully inducted into their functions/project, organise equipment and access to systems and any training required. Day to day, Coordinators execute general administration, SP/IT/PO, travel, secretarial and PA tasks.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

GPC AP Coordinator

• Coordinators are assigned to the GPC Admin pool, picking up tasks from the GPC Admin mailbox as and when required:
• Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Directors of the GPC Management team, Project Managers. Project Engineering Manager and their Teams, Clients and Sub-contractors
• Organise and set up of new starters and leavers
• Dealing with day to day requirements during the absence of the managers including email and calendar management. Assistance with phone calls when required.
• Arranging meetings: room bookings, invitations, refreshments, preparation of documents and agendas, equipment set-up, minutes, action tracking, as required
• Attend meetings and prepare materials and reports, preparing agendas and taking minutes as required
• Documentation: set up of templates, filing systems, typing, editing and formatting, compilation, copying, scanning, printing, version control on SharePoint and upload into ProArc or equivalent.
• Assisting with expenses as and when required
• Arrange travel, including: visa application and processing; welcome pack completion, road, rail, sea and air travel; accommodation; tracking and related work
• Tracking of actions on registers and updating, as required
• Management of paperwork to other offices and countries by post, courier, ShareFile
• Time input in SAP for self and contracted team members and GPC managers
• Originate and maintain Organisation Charts and presentations in Visio and PowerPoint
• Set up and administer Department, Public (project) and Team SharePoint sites and the Libraries and Lists and Permissions therein
• Induction of personnel into the Department/Project
• Coordination of Department appraisals with Manager(s) and Lead(s), as required
• Coordination of Project PMRs, as required
• Event organisation
• Processing Purchase Orders which includes vendor create and change.
• IT Requests and trouble-shooting for the Team
• Purchasing of stationery and small items
• Facilities focal point for the Department: desk space, equipment, etc.
• Cover similar work as and when required including holiday cover for the pool of Admins.
• Greeting of visitors is also necessary as and when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Good command of written and spoken English, also numerate
• Educated in Office and Secretarial practices and other subjects
• Proven relevant experience
• Keyboard skills / touch typing / formatting and layout

• Assist in Purchase Orders and invoicing

Subsea Systems Engineer
Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Subsea Systems Engineer to join their I. The client is a major player within the energy market. Their Subsea Engineering team is responsible for delivering the Systems Engineering scopes for subsea tie-back projects to existing/new facilities in the respective Regions.
As such we are recruiting for a Subsea System Engineer who will support tie-back projects as assigned by the Subsea Systems DL and the project Engineering Manager in the region. The key responsibility is to support with the delivery of the subsea system's engineering scopes throughout the different project development phases (concept development through execute) and handover to operations.
The role will be based in England reporting will be to the Engineering Team Lead as such candidates are required to have right to work in the UK.

Core Competencies/Requirements:

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication) or equivalent.
• Candidate must ensure the integration of the subsea scopes across the EPCI, SPS, UEC and other contractors and support the procurement of various subsea packages.
• Candidate must be competent with Central Subsea team and other functions like (Wells, Operations) to ensure equipment delivered meets the project functional requirements.
• Candidate must support the ETL in co-ordinating self-verification and engineering assurance activities (e.g. HAZID/ISD, HAZOP/LOPA, Design Reviews, MDEs, PHSSERs, SUARs), in line with the Engineering verification Plan to ensure Safe Design and Quality Build.

Job Description

On behalf of A major oil operator Petroplan are looking for an Accountant to be based in London, the role will be on a annual renewable contractual basis and offering a competitive rate.

Job Overview

Reviews and interprets financial results in with business managers. Drafts insightful accounting analysis. Maintains a basic understanding of financial systems and data elements

Responsibilities;

• Researches financial anomalies and makes corrections as necessary.
• Works on special projects as assigned.
• Generates reconciliations and accounts analyses.
• Participates in the monthly financial statement closes.
• Validates accounting assumptions with Accounting Manager and/or business managers.
• Aware of and monitors compliance of processes, transactions and balances with accounting / finance policies.
• Assists in implementing appropriate accounting policies and procedures.
• Aware of internal control concepts, evaluates controls to ensure they are operating effectively and makes recommendations to improve controls.
• Treasury finance maintain and reconcile the TMS accounting ledgers in respect of transactions associated with the treasury activity outlined above. This involves full finance span activities across transactional postings, MI reporting and control assurance.
• Project activity within the finance area, treasury management system replacement and associated general ledger
• Support other team members as needed including testing for a system replacement project.
• Interact with external auditors each quarter to explain the results and decisions made regarding accounting treatment.
• Maintain internal financial control documentation in accordance with control processes and policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant with experience in Treasury
• Strong practical experience within wider Treasury environment, forex, financial instruments
• Prior project experience with Treasury Management Systems (Quantum preferred) and / or accounting general ledger systems
• Strong Financial Accountant with experience of applying financial accounting as required by IFRS.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills, proven team player
• Able to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a track record of delivery.
• Track record of applying rigour and due diligence to complex data reconciliation processes within a wide variety of transactions activity types
• Affinity for working with financial systems, including data management, issue resolution, and change management
• Able to interpret and communicate financial information with clarity, to both internal management and the external auditors.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work flexibly
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight timescales
• Chartered Accountancy qualification preferred
• System implementation project experience - Quantum preferred
• Good understanding of Treasury control processes and systems
• (SAP BW) experience beneficial
