Responsibilities;

Manage the preparation, analysis and submission of the financial reporting (P/L, Balance Sheets, operational data), including monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, annual Budget, Business Plan, Strategic Plan. The position is the company's first reference point for the analysis of information and monitoring of results versus company's objectives. Key responsibilities cover the following areas:

• Manage the preparation, analysis and submission to Head Office of monthly financial reporting, yearly budgets, and long term strategic business plan.
• Expand, develop and integrate centralised business analytics tools.
• Manage the preparation of the Company's capex, opex and common cost, no profit budgets in a timely manner and follow-up of the variance analysis of actual vs budget.
• Prepare monthly reporting to management.
• Support the Finance Manager in the implementation of financial policies, analysis of financial and economic impact of business operations on the Company's results, identification and selection of the most appropriate accounting treatments in order to achieve the Company's financial objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

The Senior Contracts Advisor will support the business in meeting its objectives by managing the contracting life cycle from development of contract strategies, tenders, negotiations, and contract awards. You will be responsible for post award contract management, including reporting and performance management.

The position would suit an individual who has extensive wells and drilling experience within the energy market. African or international experience would be advantageous.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
* Source and execute Rigs, Wells and Exploration (RWE) contracts and the daily execution of RWE Procurement objectives and strategy.
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for sourcing and contracting for RWE contracts.

Demand Planning/ Concept/Strategy Development
* Review annual business plan to understand forward demand and document key findings, priorities and assumptions from spend and contracts.
* Analyse the RWE business landscape, spend by sub-category and supplier to feed into category strategy and identify value optimisation opportunities.
* Develop contract strategies and tender go-to-market plans for complex RWE contracts

Contracting/Sourcing/ Tendering
* Develop and execute complex (high value and or high risk) RWE tenders, this includes tender requests, tender evaluation, negotiations and supplier due diligence.
* Incorporate Local Content during sourcing events and ensure that the contracts meet the Local Content requirements.
* Secure complex RWE contracts (drafting and development) and ensure proper storage of contracts and associated documentation in-line with company requirements.

Stakeholder Relationship Management
* Drive complex RWE contracts management with end users to ensure that suppliers deliver their performance obligations and comply with the terms and conditions of the contract.
* Provide oversight and conduct RWE contracts renewal and closure and communicate the updates with relevant stakeholders.
* Collaborate with and develop suppliers to create sustainable long-term relationships where applicable.
* Identify opportunities to create synergies across the business to obtain increased value from the overall Procurement contract portfolio.
* Support internal and external audits where required.
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for RWE sourcing and contracting.

Leadership/ People Management
* Assist in the development and implementation of capability development initiatives to improve Procurement outcomes

Skills
* Formulating, evaluating and negotiating complex contracts.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with diverse business drivers and variables.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and articulate and present solutions.

Education and experience
* Proven experience in upstream oil and gas industry, predominantly contracts formulation and negotiation, and contract management.
* Very good understanding of significant legal and commercial issues within supply chain.
* International exposure within an Oil and Gas contracts and procurement environment.
* Drilling and operations contracting experience, coupled with contracts management activities.
* Proven experience of negotiating complex contracts.

Academic qualifications
* Degree level qualification.
* Preference for additional SCM related qualification, eg. CIPS, MBA.

Job Description

On behalf of An Oil and gas EPC company Petroplan are looking for a Project Material Tracker based in either their London or Paris office.

Responsibilities;

• Responsible for the identification and the tracking of all CPI, permanent items, equipment, material, installation aids & consumables used for and during the Project, throughout its movement from mobilisation to demobilisation locations.
• Liaise with all parties within the project to consolidate, update and follow the Master Material List which is the exhaustive list of items mentions above.
• Ensure all parties are informed in due time of the flow of material in and out, especially the local logistic entities, to allow smooth and efficient flows.
• Provide on a regular basis, at least once a week, the Master Material List and report any delays or particulars which could affect the project or part of it.
• Identify issues at an early stage and highlight them to the relevant stakeholders in order to develop mitigations and reduce impacts to schedule and operations.
• Liaise with countries and ships/ barges organisations (in-countries logistic teams, ships/barges/yards storekeepers) to track all movements and storages.
• Ensure that all paperwork necessary for identification, clearance and transportation such as cargo manifest, packing list, airway bill, material certificate, dangerous goods declaration, are available to local countries organisations and to Project's entities.
• Support the issue of a comprehensive & exhaustive demobilisation plan in close co-ordination with OPS Logistics and PMT.
• Ensure, jointly with Field Engineers and/or Project Engineers, that equipment material & remaining consumables are demobilised as planned returned to their origins in a timely fashion to avoid extra costs to the project.
• Be aware of other projects requirements (in the same region or other regions) to find synergies for equipment demob/mob.

Qualifications and Experience:

• First level technical or logistic or similar university degree
• Preferably experience in a similar position (logistic, store keeping, inventory control and material control task).
• Preferably, experience in Oil and Gas business.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English mandatory.
• Very good knowledge of standard office software.
• This position required Regular Missions to local logistics sites and other offices.

• Sound communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to:

As Senior Planning Engineer you'll be accountable for managing the overall Master Control Schedule, collation and reporting of progress against this Control Schedule. You'll develop the project Master Control Schedule and facilitate the operation of the project planning and progress measurement systems.

Responsibilities;

• Setup and manage the Master Control Schedule in line with project milestones
• To ensure that planning and progress measurement procedures for contractors and vendors conform to Project requirements and are effectively applied.

This is a permanent and residential role in London. Strong subsurface background is required with focus on developing world class offshore fields.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for assisting with the accurate & timely preparation of monthly financial accounts and associated reporting for a number of Group companies involved in the Upstream business.

Responsibilities;

• Month-end duties including
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and intercompany confirmations
  • Booking and reconciling Joint Interest Billing Statements (JIB) & preparing Cash Calls
  • Booking Depreciation and Decommissioning entries
  • Recording memo journals in relation to gross and net entitlement produced and lifted volumes
  • Calculation, preparation & input of journal entries for E&P companies
  • Revenue bookings
  • Update financial models on a monthly basis
  • Running of the financial reports and exception reports to ensure system controls are being adhered to
• Co-ordination, collation and delivery of various management reporting packs
• Review and document internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and standards
• Book E&P Overheads, Travel & Entertainment entries and corresponding monthly reports for review.
• Manage accounts payable function for the Oil Asset department, including obtaining approvals from relevant department heads, communicating payment details to Treasury and ensuring vendors are kept updated.
• Submit monthly accounts to the Group via Hyperion.
• Work with engineering department on cost review and tracking
• Support annual group year-end audit and ad hoc Joint Venture, cost recovery and tax audits
• Assist with preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly tax returns
• Assist with preparation of external regulatory reporting - CEMAC
• Maintain accurate and complete supporting documentation for all of the above

Qualifications and Experience:

• Economics/accounting/ business degree desirable (min 2:1) and strong A-levels (incl. maths)
• Familiarity with oil production sharing contracts - highly desirable
• Previous experience as a Finance Analyst (E&P company or similar business environment preferred)
• An interest in or already studying either CIMA or ACCA
• Strong numerical skills which will be tested at interview stage
• Good Interpersonal / communication skills
• Advanced IT skills with a demonstrable aptitude for accounting systems, Excel and PowerPoint and a keen interest in developing financial analysis skills as it relates to the budgeting and forecasting process
• Familiarity of basic valuation / return terminology
• Highly organised, detail orientated with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
