Job Description

On behalf of A major oil operator Petroplan are looking for a Service Manager to be based in London, the role will be on a contractual basis and offering a competitive rate.

Responsibilities;

· Work heavily with suppliers on a day-to-day basis to ensure services are delivered.

· The majority of work is outsourced and as such strong leadership and drive is required to ensure that major suppliers deliver within agreed SLAÂ.

· This also requires dispute resolution.

· Ensure that all infrastructure end-to-end services (desktop, hosting, and network,) are delivered to the businesses supported within the geography. These services are critical to business functionality.

· Develop a technical infrastructure overview and understand the critical business applications and processes for the business

· Meet on a regular basis with key business contacts (BIMs) to ensure requirements are captured and deliveries are meeting expectations.

· Evolve the client engagement process from reactive and tactical delivery to proactive management and strategic service delivery

· Successfully liaise with IT&S colleagues in the application space to ensure overall IT&S services are robust and dependable.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent IT&S experience

· A proven track record in the areas of IT operations, with an appropriate level of commercial skills.

· Strong IT&S operational skills, bias for action, and a good understanding of all IT technologies Â*ITIL Foundation certified

· Strong management of performance and drive for continuous improvement

· Ability to facilitate effective teamwork and build collaborative relationships

· Good written and verbal communications skills

· Ability to engage segment representatives in an effective manner, including understanding the business aspect of service delivery issues

· Ability to network effectively

· Ability to deliver results without direct executive authority

  • Operational experience in Network and/or Hosting (IT&S infrastructure)

As such we are recruiting for a Stress Analysis FEA Engineer with experience on Non-Linear Analyses problem in FEA and Contact FEA modelling, and that has a strong background on FEA, Solid modelling and Abaqus (or similar) and preferably non-linear material modelling.

We are currently working for a forward thinking business based in South West London who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who'll sit within the Oil, Gas and Renewable Power sector playing a key role in developing the offshore energy business whilst shaping future opportunities and contributing the businesses global ambitions.

The Role :
The role will consist of reporting to the Head of Oil,Gas, and Energy Transition whilst winning new business , identifying and acquiring new projects as well as meeting strategic business targets related to financial and client relationship development.

Your primary focus will be on the development and management of a portfolio for FEEDs, Detail Design, EPCM/EPC, and PMC projects for complex facilities in Conventional energy, Process and Chemicals and Renewable sectors. Our Client an EPC Company are looking for a Senior Project Services Planning Engineer to join them on a Permanent basis in their offices in South West, London. The role will be offered with a negotiable salary and benefits package.

Job Overview;

As Senior Planning Engineer you'll be responsible for managing and delivering high quality project planning and reporting services and ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the various planning services

Job Purpose:

  • Create, maintain, review and administer Engineering. Procurement & Construction plans using Primavera P6
  • Produce detailed logic linked project plans in P6
  • Liaise with Project Engineers to gather progress and identify any schedule issues
  • Support integration of project plan with Client operational plans where applicable
  • Liaise with Clients and suppliers to identify key dates and correctly schedule the phases of engineering, procurement and implementation
  • Ensure that scheduling standards and processes are in order to support development of offshore wind projects and/or Oil and Gas Projects
  • Support the Project Engineers by ensuring cost reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with both company procedures and Client requirements
  • Manage all cost control activities and track performance against the contractual scope, cost, schedule, and financial objectives of the Project
  • Assist the Project Engineers by highlighting areas of concern in order to maximise cost control and improve margins
  • Prepare CTR's, Project Mails and Project Change Notices
  • Liaise with procurement and expediting team

Job requirements:

  • Ideally degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Business or related subject
  • Must have experience within a similar role and in the use of Primavera P6
  • Experience of the offshore wind industry or Oil and Gas industry
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

The Senior Contracts Advisor will support the business in meeting its objectives by managing the contracting life cycle from development of contract strategies, tenders, negotiations, and contract awards. You will be responsible for post award contract management, including reporting and performance management.

The position would suit an individual who has extensive wells and drilling experience within the energy market. African or international experience would be advantageous.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
* Source and execute Rigs, Wells and Exploration (RWE) contracts and the daily execution of RWE Procurement objectives and strategy.
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for sourcing and contracting for RWE contracts.

Demand Planning/ Concept/Strategy Development
* Review annual business plan to understand forward demand and document key findings, priorities and assumptions from spend and contracts.
* Analyse the RWE business landscape, spend by sub-category and supplier to feed into category strategy and identify value optimisation opportunities.
* Develop contract strategies and tender go-to-market plans for complex RWE contracts

Contracting/Sourcing/ Tendering
* Develop and execute complex (high value and or high risk) RWE tenders, this includes tender requests, tender evaluation, negotiations and supplier due diligence.
* Incorporate Local Content during sourcing events and ensure that the contracts meet the Local Content requirements.
* Secure complex RWE contracts (drafting and development) and ensure proper storage of contracts and associated documentation in-line with company requirements.

Stakeholder Relationship Management
* Drive complex RWE contracts management with end users to ensure that suppliers deliver their performance obligations and comply with the terms and conditions of the contract.
* Provide oversight and conduct RWE contracts renewal and closure and communicate the updates with relevant stakeholders.
* Collaborate with and develop suppliers to create sustainable long-term relationships where applicable.
* Identify opportunities to create synergies across the business to obtain increased value from the overall Procurement contract portfolio.
* Support internal and external audits where required.
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for RWE sourcing and contracting.

Leadership/ People Management

Academic qualifications
