JOB DESCRIPTION

Petroplan are looking to recruit a Junior Commercial Analyst position to be based in London on a Permanent staff basis full time.

The ideal cadidate will be someone who will meet existing clients, build relationships with them, maintain them, do presentations, and helping external stake holders within the industry.

Ideally you will have just a few years experience within the energy sector.

Knowledge, qualifications and experience

  • A degree with an analytical focus would be preferable
  • Commercial and/or operational experience in the energy industry (gas industry preferred)
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels (internally and externally) of an organisation
  • Excellent report writing, verbal and presentational skills
  • High level of numeracy and analytical skills - able to review, analyse and report on data and information of varying complexity
  • Excellent standard of computer literacy, particularly use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Analytical thinking - organises problems systematically, takes a wide range of data into account
