Full Stack Developer (Remote) - Renewables

Petroplan are pleased to be working with a Development company who are looking to recruit a Full Stack Developer.
The ideal candidate will work on a variety of projects, including the creation of sophisticated analytics, eye-catching visualizations, and useful insights for us based on digital twins of solar applications produced using data from the company's infield IoT sensors. With automated and energy-producing solutions, they are developing control, data, and reporting systems for daylight management for urban environments in order to increase occupant comfort, produce energy for consumption, and lower building greenhouse gas emissions.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with the software development team to design, create, and implement new web portal features for a solar project.
• Along with improving the product development process, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the Mechanical, Electrical, and Applications teams to provide solutions for internal teams using web-based tooling.
• You will be accountable for the proper application of the design and your own coding. Through test-driven development, you will produce high-quality code.
• Recognizing and putting into practice data protection and security.
• Managing a project from conception to completion.
• Advocate and improve on code quality, automated tests, CI/CD initiatives, and the developer experience.
• While creating the program, taking into account aspects like security, maintenance, and scalability.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in Energy sector.
• Experience in full stack development in C#.Net
• Knowledge of Languages used for programming: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and JQuery.
• Microsoft BI Tools: Power BI
• Understanding of server-side programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net Restful API Experience.
• Create creative, front-end and back-end software products and apps that are dynamic and visually appealing.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development.
