JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Contract administration of allocated projects, dealing with all commercial and contract activities associated with Client contract and support all associated subcontract and supplier requirements, from project start-up through to contract close-out;
  • Governance of commercial policies, processes and procedures to ensure that all commercial activities are executed in strict compliance with the clients operating principles, standards and values;
  • Contribute to the execution of functional objectives;
  • Contract administration;
  • Develop and/or assists in the development of contract management activities, from the request for proposal to contract close-out;
  • Support in the contract reporting activities of management;
  • Provide commercial and contractual support to the contracts manager and project team on all aspects of client contract and subcontract management;
  • Manage and maintain effective and accurate records of all project contractual and commercial documentation;
  • Management of change (variation) control process of client contracts and subcontracts;
  • Commercial and contractual close-out activities;
  • Appraise, select, recommend and implement contractual and commercial arrangements in line with the client's contracting philosophy;
  • Prepare and review proposals to instigate formal changes;
  • Provide contractual advice, initiates and responds to contractual correspondence;
  • Support the contract manager in the identification, assessment and preparation of claims including the preparation of any documentation required;
  • Assist with internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues;
  • Coordinate the commercial submission of tenders, liaising with technical and support functions in the development of the commercial submission;
