Job Purpose

  • To provide desktop support (via phone or desk-site visit).
  • To conduct root cause analysis of the incidents and problem tickets.
  • To analyze system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
  • Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
  • Answering desktop related technical queries.
  • Responsibility for documenting the configuration of systems
  • Troubleshooting any reported problems.
  • Network port patching.
  • Build laptops/workstations using standard build procedure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation relating to the service desk.


Responsibilities / Key Objectives:

  • Provide level 1 and 2nd desktop support (including Dell workstations, laptops, Windows 10 and MS Office Suite).
  • Installation, configuration and testing of Dell desktop and workstations.
  • Troubleshooting desktop applications.
  • Assist users with Audio Video conferencing setup.
  • Ensure ticket queues are attended to as per agreed SLA/OLA, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and respond to assigned trouble tickets. Update tickets with status on timely manner.
  • Mobile phone activation, configuration and troubleshooting.
