Our client is seeking a Full-Time Scheduler to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Louisiana-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Corporate Lead Scheduler to develop detailed and summary schedules for EPC, Pipeline, Marine, and Commissioning & Start-Up activities.
Conduct a thorough review and analysis of site work-hour resources, equipment resources, and production rates, fostering collaboration with EPC, Pipeline, and Marine teams through data sharing.
Contribute insights to detailed site plans, time-scaled charts, and diagrams to enhance project visualization and planning.
Monitor the progress of EPC, Pipeline, and Marine scopes of work against established baselines, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
Perform audits on reported EPC and Marine project progress on-site, comparing actual achievements against the planned and forecasted milestones.
Act as the focal point for Operations during initial planning sessions and contribute to detailed schedule development.
Provide impact analysis for scope or sequencing changes, identifying opportunities, and proactively developing mitigation strategies for the Project Management team within the EPC, Pipeline, and Marine scopes of work.
Understand and oversee the execution of key interfaces between various scopes of work, including owner-furnished equipment, pipeline construction, and commissioning through first-line fill.
Review third-party design and/or construction schedules, effectively communicating relationships and interfaces with other project parties.
Prepare and deliver progress reporting documents and briefing materials as required.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of master schedule dynamics, particularly in the context of phased completion strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of planning and/or construction capital project experience in the oil and gas industry, with a preference for owner's experience.
Demonstrated experience in the design and construction of large-scale, complex projects, showcasing proficiency in understanding a robust progress reporting methodology.
Ability to comprehend demanding, technical, and complicated construction programs, with the skills to effectively communicate progress and issues to both technical and management-level audiences.
Experience in reviewing and interpreting Primavera P6 project schedules.
Proven capability in assessing and auditing project schedules and physical progress.
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues to a non-technical audience.
Familiarity with Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Visio, and Power BI is preferred.
