Advisor Subsurface Applications and Workflow (One year renewable / Only Malaysian nationals)
Our client a well established E&P company is looking for a high calibre, seasoned professional to join the company in an advisory capacity. The scope of the role is the following:
This role is responsible for delivering, day-to-day application and workflow support towards the discipline user base. Workflow is concerned with the optimized use of differentiated technology (applications and infrastructure) in conjunction with technical information (data and documents).
Whilst in this role, the Subsurface Applications and Workflow Analyst should be focused on building their breadth and depth of technology and workflow expertise across the discipline domain to knowledge status, gaining experience with new technologies and workflows and increasing their day to day impact on the business objectives of their users.
Requirements:
Academic degree like a BSc. or higher in a relevant Upstream technical discipline, e.g. Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or other qualifications combined with extensive experience in a related business domain.
Up to 5-10 years of experience in a sub-surface and wells discipline, with an emphasis on the specific discipline.
Excellent understanding of the discipline specific applications and related workflows, to enable top quartile user support delivery.
Excellent communicator, with the ability to engage in informed technical discussions around data, technical tools, workflows and global best practices. Able to engage with Business users, peers and coach juniors.
