1. KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Key technical expert for seismic processing activities.

  • As part of the G&G team responsible for all seismic data processing activities within the Exploration and Development teams. This includes supervision of the data processing activities with contractors and control and supervision of seismic processing budgets.

  • To implement the seismic processing programs for operation and ensure high standard of both technical and commercial performance is achieved at all times.

  • Promote the improved understanding in the region of geophysical processing methods, through mentoring internally, and where required representing in industry.



  1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of Exploration/ Development seismic processing activities.

· Ensure the effective seismic processing of the assigned area/ project, managing and optimizing time schedules, resources, costs and technical quality.

· Provide quality assurance to Management on seismic data processing issues and make sound recommendations for decision making.

  • Supervise the seismic data processing at selected contractor.

  • Provide input for seismic work programs and budgets.

  • Provide direct supervision of Direct Reports, including mentoring, goal setting, career development etc.

  • Provide advice, support and recommendation on seismic processing requirements to the technical teams including mentoring of geophysicists.

  • When required to act as reference in industry for geophysical processing-related matters (partner meetings/ conferences etc).

  1. WORKING RELATIONSHIP



· Work closely with other G&G staff from different functions to ensure smooth planning and execution of exploration and appraisal seismic programs and budgets.

  1. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Sciences in Geophysics.

  • Minimum 15 years of seismic processing industry experience.

  • Knowledge of all aspects of seismic exploration, 2D, 3D, 4C.

  • Strong fundamental knowledge in Seismic Processing, both time and depth processing and OBC processing.

  • Fundamental knowledge of seismic acquisition and geology.

  • Experience in integrating seismic processing with well data and rock physics.

  • Fundamental knowledge of data processing software.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Senior Advisor, Procurement

The role is critical to support, review, analyze and evaluate business process and user needs. Document requirements define scope and objectives including with formulate systems and process to parallel overall business strategies.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Communicate and provide input with users to consolidate requirements into Annual Procurement Plan
  • Facilitate tender/negotiation process, including contracts negotiation with contractors to ensure the contracts gives adequate protection to Company legal position and conforms to Company legal requirement
  • Provide support during formulation of the contracting negotiation and clarification of contract terms, give recommendations on contractual exceptions/deviations from contractors, and draft the final contracts
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the teams and integrating their efforts to maximize operational productivity as well as conducting procurement analysis, supply risk assessments, demand and supply market analysis etc.
  • Benchmarking the cost and quality, in relation to industry trends, with current suppliers in order to negotiate better pricing, terms and condition of sale and warranties of goods and products.
  • Keep update on procurement and contracts matters, commercial terms and conditions, and market information in order to protect and optimize Company's interest
  • Assist in managing overall performance and operation of the procurement as well as contracts for projects development.
  • Involving in vendor identification, solicitation of offers, comparative bid analysis, price negotiations and order / contract finalization
  • Ensure procurement and tender process are in accordance with the clients processes as well as PETRONAS' PTCAM guidelines
  • Ensure contracts is closed out and user complete contractor's performance evaluation under the contracts
  • Other related matters as assigned or instructed by the senior management Managers
  • Review and analyze users' requirements in order to provide the best fit sourcing strategy and propose qualified vendors to match with users' requirements
  • Perform as a single point of contact for both contractors and users to facilitate the procurement process and ensure its compliance

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Purchasing/Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Engineering background would be an added advantage.

Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities)

  • Strong analytical, negotiation and contracting skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP modules (added advantage)
  • Good understanding in materials management system
  • A sound knowledge of PETRONAS Tenders and Contracts Procedures.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken

Work Experiences

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in relevant field
  • Experience in project coordination is an advantage.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Industry.

Head, Production Engineering

Head, Production Engineering (Malaysian Nationals Only. KL Based)

  • Coordinate, assess and redistribute engineering workload evenly among the production engineers in the team.
  • Responsible to oversee all the routine well and reservoir surveillance, problem well diagnostics and repair across Sabah & Sarawak Asset.
  • Responsible to ensure the development and continuous update of the well and field production performance, production allocation, investigations, maintaining IPM (linking Material Balance, Nodal Analysis and Surface Network Software - Prosper- GAP- MBal).
  • Develop, update and ensuring the implementation of well start-up and shut down procedures.
  • Coordinate and ensure the implementation of the flow assurance program through direct liaison with the production chemist, flow assurance engineer, and service company representatives on the day-to-day operations.
  • Actively perform well and surface debottlenecking studies in the operating field.
  • Work with Cross-functional teams to define and update Field Development Plans and review new field development program in terms of well/field deliverability, artificial lift requirement and contingency recovery method where applicable.
  • Review new completion design program and ensure well deliverability and contingency for artificial lift and other flow assurance requirement.
  • Conduct frequent Field/Site visits for sharing production and reservoir surveillance strategy with field operators and supervisory staff.
  • Liaise with and assist in the development of procedures with the Well Services Intervention Team. Close liaison with process, facilities, maintenance, and reservoir engineers.

Senior Contracts Engineer

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Shall be responsible for the whole cycle of Contract management in capital project. Execution covering from CFT development, Tendering execution, Basic engineering, Detailed engineering, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Performance test of both Offshore Facilities and Onshore Gas Plant.

Shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the followings:

  • Liaise with Project engineer to develop Contracting strategy for the propjet development project in FEED and ECP stage, including to review Overall contracting strategy (OCS) and provide any recommendation if can improve.
  • Define contract interfacing between numbers of contract and assure zero gap of scope among contracts including any procurement activities during execution stage e.g. Long lead items, QA/QC service, Construction service, etc.
  • Assist Project engineer to prepare Tender plan or other deliverable to obtain management/committee approval in relating to Contractual management.
  • Drafts appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions to best serve and protect Company's interests
  • Be a focal point to develop Call for Tender, reviews bids, conduct negotiations and administer the award of contracts and contract amendments and provision of feedback to bidders
  • Work with Project engineer and Discipline engineers to monitor/control the project execution including to monitor the efficiency of contractor and company teams if there is any deficiency to improve.
  • Attend monthly progress meetings and any relevant meetings e.g. Change order meeting, etc.
  • Be a focal point to draft/review all correspondences between company and contractor/vendor/etc.
  • Provide contractual advisory to project team if any dispute or conflict in contract management with contractors.

Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities)

  • Must have extensive knowledge of contract management, arbitration, construction law, claims, change orders, mediation, commercial/contractual close-out of project, etc.
  • Must have a good understanding in Oil and Gas business and operation
  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience in of both Offshore and Onshore facilities
  • Understanding of procurement processes including: ethical principles; bidder prequalification; invitation to tender; comparative evaluation of contractors; & award, management, amendment & close out of contracts
  • Have appropriate practical experience in preparation and negotiation of complex technical contracts in EPC Project life cycle especially in the industries of Oil and Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical
  • Demonstrable general knowledge of commercial, legal and insurance, liability, indemnity & insurances regime

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in Law, Engineering or other related field
  • Professional certificate by accredited Bodies/ Associations is an advantage but not necessary
  • Fellowship of particular Society/Institute of Arbitration/Construction law, or the like is advantage.
