KEY OBJECTIVES
- Provide Quality support to COMPANY, Development Department ensuring that the Quality Contractual Requirements are fulfilled.
- Continuous review of Suppliers' Quality Documentation (e.g. Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans etc.) to ensure that the Services and Goods to be procured, are in accordance with the Contract requirements.
- Continuous review of Suppliers' Quality Related Documentation, e.g. WPS/PQR, NDT, Coating, Leak Testing, and any other agreed documents as stated in the Contract to ensure compliance to Codes, Standards and Company Specifications.
- Coordinate Third Party Inspection Activities related to Service Contract Operational Bases.
- Perform Audits and Assessments where applicable both inside Malaysia and at Suppliers/Contractors bases worldwide.
- Ensure all Quality Records are archived and documented into a Quality System in COMPANY, Development Department.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Management
- Manage the Third-Party Inspection Personnel on Contract to COMPANY.
- Manage the Development Department's Quality Archiving System to ensure that any record required is retrievable.
Functional
- Perform the review of Suppliers' Quality Documentation to ensure suitability to Scope of Work.
- Perform Quality Audits and Assessments.
- Lead Quality and Technical Meetings.
- Review Supplier Reports from a Quality point of view.
- Follow Up NCR Reports issued by COMPANY with respect to Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions and Verification of the Effectiveness of the implementation of the Corrective Action(s) presented by Suppliers.
- Lead Monthly Contract Meetings with Service Providers from a Quality perspective.
- Represent company at equipment FAT as required.
- Liaise with discipline Engineer and site during equipment SAT (site acceptance test).
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Company/Internal
- The job holder will interface with the Development Department in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, WP and Bintulu, Sarawak for all matters concerning the QA/QC issues on Equipment and Services.
- Interface with the COMPANY Quality Representatives in Bintulu, Sarawak or Labuan, WP or in other locations where COMPANY Equipment or Services are being performed.
External
- The job holder has regular contact with Equipment and Service Suppliers and local Service Contractors.
- Must be competent to represent COMPANY in the presence of the Regulator and MPM as required.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities are:
- Malaysian Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations.
- COMPANY Corporate Health, Safety, Security & Environment Policy.
- Contractor's & Suppliers Health and Safety Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in any engineering discipline from a recognized University.
- Possesses ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
- Minimum eight (8) years working in a Quality Department, within the Development / Projects Department preferably in High Pressure environment.
- Practical experience in managing Quality issues on Equipment and Services in the Oil & Gas Industry preferably within the Projects environment.
- Attitude to stay in Operational Bases, Manufacturing Facilities for short periods.
- Critical aptitude and the ability to analyse processes quickly, methodically and effectively.
- PC literacy with Word and Excel applications in a Windows environment.
- Working Knowledge of Facilities Equipment.
- Good knowledge and familiarity with the most advanced QA/QC requirements and procedures for inspection/auditing, matured in a major oil company.
- Team player skills, capable of working with professionals from different Partner Companies.
- Fluency in English language, both verbal and written.
- Maintain an archive for all Quality Records received by Facilities Department.
