KEY OBJECTIVES

• Appraisal and development assessment of appropriate areas and fields.
• Operational (drilling and well intervention) planning and execution for appraisal and development wells.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide direct support to company's appraisal and development efforts.
• Plan and manage cost-effective logging and coring programs.
• Carry out near real-time formation evaluation in support of drilling and well intervention operations.
• Plan, undertake and manage petrophysical studies for reservoir characterization and volumetric resource assessment.

KEY AUTHORITIES

• As provided/assigned by General Manager, Petroleum Development.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Reporting to Team Leader, Petroleum Development Sarawak Oil.
• Liaise with immediate team members and extended team members in drilling, development and production.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in the relevant field with minimum 10 years' experience.
• Good knowledge of MWD/LWD, wireline logging tools and formation evaluation techniques.
• Good IT and data management skills.
• Familiar in evaluating vintage logs.
• Good skills in interfacing between G & G, reservoir engineering and drilling.
