We are seeking an Experienced Senior Subsea Integrity Engineer to join our client from oil & gas company to be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


REPORTING TO : Head of Subsea Maintenance and Inspections


KEY OBJECTIVES

  • The Senior Engineer, Subsea Integrity, will provide practical and technical engineering support to maintain and assure the integrity and, operability of the Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
  • Assist in the development and management of the long-term integrity management plan and risk-based inspection (RBI) plan for the Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
  • Responsible for planning and execution of Subsea IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) campaigns to ensure the subsea production systems continue to operate in a condition that is safe for the personnel and environment throughout the life of the asset.
  • Manage the review of Subsea Inspection data, project and anomaly reports, to help determine trends in data, potential degradation mechanisms and also to identify data processing or reporting irregularities, any of which may need remedial actions or better-quality controls.
  • Development of work scopes, specifications and technical evaluation criteria to support company procurement process in securing contracts and service agreements, as necessary, to support Subsea operations.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensures Company and Petronas HSE safe practices are adhered to throughout all Subsea operations and interfaces.
  • Ensures all Subsea operations comply with Company management systems and local statutory regulations.
  • Oversee and review results of engineering work carried out by specialist contractors regarding fatigue and dynamic analysis.
  • Assist in updating the associated asset integrity management procedures and strategies based on analyses.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Min 10 years Offshore Oil & Gas industry experience with significant proportion of that in Deepwater Operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Subsea Production Systems and Interfaces.
  • Familiar with Deepwater subsea IMR/Intervention work, current subsea technologies, and implementation of RBI for Deepwater Subsea Production System (SPS).
  • Ability to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Degree or similar in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated technical experience particularly on Deepwater Subsea IMR work.
  • Preferred to have CSWIP 3.4U - Underwater Inspection Controller Certifications
  • Good English competency.
  • Solid understanding of key API RP17 Standards

  • Function as Company Representative when required during routine and non-routine subsea activities.
  • Work with Asset Integrity Group to manage update the database of Subsea Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Report, Subsea Inspection Report, Subsea Anomaly List and Dashboard
  • Work with Asset Integrity Group to plan and execute subsea IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) work cost effectively.
  • Develop method statement and workpack for offshore subsea IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair/Intervention) campaign.
  • Manage IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair/Intervention) vessel, ROV and diving contract to ensure compliance to Client's policy and governance.
