Metal and Alloys Sales Representative

My client is an Italian manufacturer of high-performance metals and alloys and that sells to distributors in Houston and globally. They are actively looking to bring on a qualified Sales professional with a background in Metallurgy and/or materials engineering. This is a full time, Houston based position, with an opportunity to travel. Please see below for responsibilities and requirements.


  • Manage the domestic customer technical support for the specification and application of corrosion resistant alloys (specialty stainless steel and nickel based)
  • Work with customers to assist with material selection
  • Provide a technical link between the mill and the customer engineering groups and end users
  • Review sales contracts to ensure the material met all required specifications (NACE, ASTM, API, Customer Specific)
  • Traveling to customer locations


  • At least 5 years or more of experience in a Sales/Business development role with experience selling alloys and metals
  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering or Metallurgy
  • Ability to travel as needed
