Strategy Development * Develop systematic approach in planning, assigning & prioritizing the manufacturing process

development/change. Inform end- user/stakeholders for status and completion of work

Manage Manufacturing


  • Ensure on-time transfer accurate/complete manufacturing engineering process design master data to

ERP system for production execution

  • Maintain good manufacturing process design validation through software as well as on equipment and

ensure that validation results properly documented, communicated and transferred to production

execution team

  • Identify and utilize opportunity for productivity and cost improvement in manufacturing process from

expected demand, existing production constrain and ensure changes are in place timely & accurately

  • Prepare department operational budget and capital budget for acquiring new technology for planned

company revenue growth as Well as product portfolio

  • Collaborate with vendors for economical tooling, fixture development, productivity improvement, process

trouble shooting

  • Develop & implement sub-contracting process standard/specification and participate in selection &

evaluation of sub-contractors

Supervision & Training * Supervise and maintain clear responsibility & accountability for tasks. Ensure strong review and

approval process is maintained to deliver accurate & correct documentation/ manufacturing execution

system, in timely manner

  • Monitor & authenticate development of process feasibility report for new product concept from


  • Train & lead the team to deliver optimum manufacturing process design/changes considering: Maximum

utilization of available resource, Production Lead time, Product Cost, Safe/ economical & efficient

tooling/fixtures, quality control/inspection plan, delivery delay risk and accurate visibility for

cost/production time customer order quantity variation

Reporting * Define and achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for department as well as individual

  • Report monthly progress report and escalate input delays to Operations Manager
  • Achieve his individual target Key Performance Indicator (KPI) as well as contribute in achieving target

department's KPI

Management & Leadership * Develop the team and work process

  • Manage the team, motivate them and help them to increase their performance
  • Manage the team performance to meet the company and department KPI'S and objectives
  • Manage day to day work and make sure that goals are achieved
  • Select the team and assist in preparing the Man Power Plan
  • Support the management and HR for any development in the company

  • Adhere to all relevant QHSE procedures, instructions and controls so that Delta provides a safe, world

class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people

& Procedures

  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a

controlled and consistent manner while delivering a world-class service

Others * Coordinate with the management on work issues

  • Send periodic reports as per management needs
  • Attend the required meetings or workshops as per management request
  • Perform other duties required by the management within the work scope

Qualification Description

EXPERIENCE * 12 to 15 years of work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in manufacturing environment

with complex products and cutting-edge technology (preferably in Oil & Gas industry)

  • Mills (HMC and VMC), Lathes, and mill turns all involved. Grinding, water jets always a plus

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Expert level knowledge of tooling, CNC programming, manufacturing processes

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS * Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred
