Job Requirement
Bachelors in Engineering in relevant field
Minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant experience in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas
projects.
Experience managing projects as the client/owner, preferably with an IOC.
Experience in project scopes for pipeline, storage tanks and complete onshore facilities including control buildings,
sub-stations and other associated utilities and infrastructure .
Experience in managing projects of value greater than US$200 million
Experience in brownfield projects
Experience with managing projects requiring strict government regulatory approvals and demonstrated record of
accomplishment of compliance.

Petroplan are looking to hire a Senior Safety Drilling Officer to work in Qatar for a major Oil and Gas client.
This is an offshore rotational position.
Experience & Skills required:
Min 12 years' experience in years in drilling/workover operations within the oil and gas industry with at least 2 years rig site experience and 5 years in a supervisory role.
In depth knowledge and experience of latest HSE & BCM International Standards, Codes and Regulations such as IMO, SOLAS, MODU Code, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 22301:2012)
Must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge and experience of health and safety management systems as well as a sound understanding of Process Safety and HSE auditing. Having worked as HSE leader in Drilling contractor or service company will be an advantage.
Should be certified and demonstrate good capabilities to run the Incident investigation/Root causes analysis tools/software such as TRIPOD Beta, Topset, Tap root, etc. Should have good knowledge and experience with Risk Management tool (Bow Tie)
Should have a good presentation skills to conduct basic HSE Awareness training sessions.
Education required:
A Bachelor Degree degree/certificate in Health & Safety or demonstrated industry relevant experience.
Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels, from rig crew workers to senior management.

Job Purpose
Advise and develop effective safety strategies, standards and procedures in Contractor HSE management and oversee their implementation to assure that the Contractors HSE risks associated across the Organization are mitigated to a level that is As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP), are in compliance with all the statutory and corporate requirements, and aligned with the industry best practices.
Job Requirement
BSc/BEng degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related discipline is required.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in safety (HSE) management functions is required.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry or petrochemical industry is required.
International certification or training in Advanced Environmental/Occupational Management Systems (ISO 14001/45001) is required.
Chartered Safety Professional (CSP) credential and/or International certification or training (e.g.: NEBOSH International General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma or industry equivalent) is preferable.
Extensive experience in HSE legal requirements, industry standards, codes and international best practices is required.

Prepare and manage the Drilling & Completions (D&C) Department business plan and budget in line with the international industry standards.
Prepare D&C Department monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as departmental KPl's.
