Business Development Analyst
We are currently working for a major global operator based in Saudi who are looking to recruit a Business Development Analyst to join their Renewable Value Chain and Investment division playing a key role in leading and managing the screening, planning and development of renewable business investments.

The Role :
The role will consist of upfront business case development, high level feasibility study, identifying strategic opportunities and liasing with the technical teams to establish engineering analysis covering residential, commercial and industrial scales.
Your primary focus will be to lead and manage the screening, planning and development of renewable business investments whilst utilising your knowledge of the renewable energy business case development, stakeholder's alignment and transaction management. Ability to use initiative and work independently will be crucial as you'll be expected to support complex transaction teams with minimal direction.
Responsibilities:

  • Identifying opportunities
  • Building and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market trends and future ones with stakeholders
  • Supporting financial due diligence on potential opportunities, carrying out valuations and providing courses of action depending on findings
  • Managing relationships with third party developers and co-developers
  • Supporting transaction leaders, negotiation strategies and financial due diligence
  • Reviewing contractual documents and recommending courses of action


Skills and Competencies Required :

  • Must hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical/Renewable)
  • Should have a min of 7 years experience working in renewables, business development and transactions
  • Project Management skills are preferred
