Petroplan is seeking to hire Development Geologist for one of its clients

Job Summary
A Development Geologist will conduct reservoir characterization on clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs and perform G&G data integration for geological 3D models. Also, provide well operation support through well planning, placement, monitoring and geo-steering with minimal supervision. Sound knowledge of Structural Geology, Petro-physics, Seismic interpretation and Reservoir engineering is expected with good understanding of depositional environment, sedimentation and Sequence stratigraphy is required
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Geology. Advanced degree is preferred.
* A minimum of 15 of experience in development geology that covers practical experience in reservoir characterization, well planning, drilling operations, coring, gridding/mapping and logging.
* A good understanding of structural geology, sedimentology, geophysics and petrophysics.
* A wide knowledge of LWD and wireline logging technologies and applications.
* A minimum of two years' experience in geo-steering (with triple combo log) and real-time operations.
* Familiarity with LWD and/or wireline borehole image interpretation.
* Familiar with rig operations and vendor logging systems.
* Experienced with applications that are used for conducting reservoir development studies and drilling operations (mapping, correlation, well planning, etc…).
Good 3D modeling experience
* Ability to take critical decisions and solve problems.
* Ability to work in multidiscipline teams.

Lead Process Engineer

Experience in the design of process units, pipelines, utilities and offsite facilities at the conceptual, FEED, or detailed design stage of medium to large size projects.
Knowledge of process engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.

Petroplan are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to join the clients Accounting Systems Division(ASD) with experince in the Oil and GAs industry.

ASD is mainly responsible for Finance business cycles enhancements, Financial systems support and administration. In addition to implementing digital solution for the Controller's and Treasury admin areas. It is also responsible for executing Payroll and Month end processes. The department personnel are a mainly business system analysts who understand both the business and the IT solutions.

The successful candidate will:

Develops and executes activities that relate to the analysis and evaluation of current systems and supports in the identification of business, organizational and/or operational requirements as well as assist in the design, development and launching of systems in support of core business functions, processes and programs. Assess & researches on technology needs determining improvements and system company needs and related cost/benefit analysis.

Provides guidance to perform business system studies within the area served, reviews, recommends improvements and enhancements to business systems which are very complex in nature. The incumbent assumes the department role with respect to business system development and represents the respective department accordingly.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Works with organizations at all levels in order to maintain an overall corporate management information system which is the primary source of information that is gathered for policy decision making.
  • Conducts feasibility studies, business cases, and project proposal reports.
  • Prepares the user manuals and associated documentation resulting from Business System Implementation
  • Interfaces with IT in the design and implementation phases of IT- based business systems and provides support to IT as the department.
  • Provides the support and advice, and business procedures necessary to maintain the integrity of data which originates within department business organizations.
  • Provides training to operational and staff personnel in order to maximize the effectiveness of Business Systems within the assigned department.

Minimum Requirements

  • You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline. Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA) is preferred but not required.
  • You should have 12 years of related experience, it is recommended to have Business System Analyst Skills such as analyzing information and promoting process improvement. Also, the candidate should demonstrate abilities in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Have an excellent command of oral and written English.

Use GIS data for reporting, dashboarding and trending
Perform Quality Assurance Checks on suppliers to ensure sub-contractors' deliverables meet client GIS requirement
Provide technical expertise in satellite imagery, GIS, statistics, and programming to develop novel software imaging solutions that provide non-subjective, quantitative data to growers

Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10 years of professional experience, preferably with an environmental consulting organization
GISP, ESRI Technical Certification(s) - preferred but not mandatory
Experience with ENVI and/or similar software tools
Ability to code/script, such as in Python, MATLAB, R, and/or IDL
Remote sensing capabilities

Seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor who is experienced in the construction industry to join the Project Management team (PMT). Project Management Teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects. PMT is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design, procurement and construction of various sizes ($), types and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion-dollar mega projects.

The Contracts Advisor primary role is to develop contracts and administrate related functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be required to perform the following:
  • Work both independently and part of a team to support all contract related tasks.
  • Review contractual issues objectively, and resolve disputed change orders in proactive manner and achieve appropriate resolutions.
  • Develop/ review different types of contracts/agreements for the projects.
  • Administer the contracts and ensure all terms and conditions are implemented by all projects.
  • Develop review contracting strategy & plan for different types of projects.
  • Conduct market analysis to determine the best type of contract for the project and provide alternatives.
  • Implement Saudi Procurement Manual for all contracts and consciously monitor implementation.
  • Develop/review change order packages and ensure compliance to related guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop/review negotiation strategies for change orders.
  • Participate in negotiation meetings for all change orders.
  • Ensure implementation of the supplier performance evaluation by project teams.
  • Conduct/participate in counselling sessions with low performing contractors and log the required actions.
  • Provide contracting consultations to project teams to resolve any issues/ disputes.
  • Provide feedback to project teams regarding contract terms and conditions to avoid occurrence of disputes or breach to the contract.
  • Develop/review contract amendments.
  • Perform contract closeout actions upon project completion.
  • Prepare/review contracting reports to management.
  • Prepare/review different types of agreements/MOUs with external parties and potential JVs.

Minimum Requirements

  • As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Law / contracts Management from a recognized and approved program.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
  • You will have fifteen years of specialized contracting experience in design, consultancy, Joint Ventures, and construction contracts/agreements related to refining and the petrochemical industries
  • As a subject matter expert;
  • You will have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • You must have an understanding of contract administration principle and best practices.
  • You will demonstrate a dynamic attitude towards process improvements
  • You will have the flexible to work in multinational teams and mobilize to different locations including remote areas as needed.
