Responsibilities
Fully demonstrates expertise with Esri's ArcGIS for Desktop software suite and related extensions
Experience in performing geospatial modeling, analysis, and data manipulation using ArcGIS
Experience of developing GIS web applications and deploying them on ArcGIS platform
Experience with and interest in keeping up with advancing and emerging technologies, e.g., object detection, machine learning, lidar, multispectral imagery, Unoccupied Aerial Systems (UAS)/drones, GPS surveying, etc
Experience in analyzing geo-spatial data for geographic statistics to be incorporated into documents and reports
Experience compiling geographic data from a variety of sources including censuses, field observation, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, tabular data, databases, and existing maps
Able to provide guidance for non-GIS staff pertaining to its correct usage
Fully demonstrates expertise with a variety of geoprocessing tools
Able to identify and solve technical problems independently with rapid turnaround times
Produces spatial and non-spatial data while ensuring technical accuracy and logical consistency in processing and output
Able to manage large amounts of spatial and non-spatial information in accordance with company and industry standards
Demonstrates expertise working with a variety of coordinate systems
Demonstrates expertise working with vector and raster data sets
Demonstrates proficiency in converting data between GIS-related and CAD-related file formats
Comfortable working with distributed geodatabases
Ensuring GIS data submission quality levels and deadlines are met
Facilitating and supporting the integration of BIM and GIS applications
Merging the portfolio/program-wide GIS data to a single source of truth
Integrate multiple data sources accessible thru the GIS portal
Use GIS data for reporting, dashboarding and trending
Perform Quality Assurance Checks on suppliers to ensure sub-contractors' deliverables meet client GIS requirement
Provide technical expertise in satellite imagery, GIS, statistics, and programming to develop novel software imaging solutions that provide non-subjective, quantitative data to growers

Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10 years of professional experience, preferably with an environmental consulting organization
GISP, ESRI Technical Certification(s) - preferred but not mandatory
Experience with ENVI and/or similar software tools
Ability to code/script, such as in Python, MATLAB, R, and/or IDL
Remote sensing capabilities
