Petroplan are working closely with a long standing EPC to hire a Senior Business Development Manager, based out of their Singapore Headquarters.

Our client are a well-established EPC across Oil & Gas and Power, and are looking to further diversify their business into Clean / Renewable Energy.

Description


* Identify business development opportunities in clean/ renewable energy as well as market expansion for existing products and services.
* Build and manage relationship with existing and potential clients to advance organisation's business interests

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the General Manager to strategise forays in new energy (ammonia, LNG and hydrogen etc.), and to evaluate new markets for existing products and services to achieve market expansion and business development goals.
* Define, identify and implement market entry strategies.
* To lead market research initiatives (in house or outsource), analyse latest market and industry trends, and identify suitable opportunities.
* Evaluate the findings of market research; assess the viability of alternative market segment for growth and make recommendations on business strategies.
* To identify, build, and manage long-term business relationships with clients and strategic partners.
* To lead strategic initiatives related to investment opportunities in renewables, mergers/ acquisitions/ divestitures activities, setting up new ventures, strategic alliances, IP rights licensing etc.
* To lead the assessment of investments ROI, risk and cost/benefit.

Requirements


* Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
* At least 5 years of relevant working experience in business development, preferably in engineering, Oil & Gas, energy, renewables or consultancy industry.
