Petroplan are currently searching for a Mechanical Project Engineer for an Offshore Substation, based in Cádiz. The role is on a contract basis, 12 month renewable.

• 5-10 years of experience
• Recommended experience in previous Offshore Substations in German waters under DNVGL certification.
• Experience in the development of deliverables such as technical specifications, data sheets for static, rotating and packaged equipment from Client Specifications and P&ID's, PFD's, design philosophies, etc.
• Experience in technical bid evaluations.
• Experience in revision of technical documentation issued by third parties to ensure fulfillment of project requirements and coordination with other disciplines in EPC projects.
• Desirable experience in lifting equipment and familiar with EN 8120 and EN 13852-1 standards.
• Project standards:
  • Particular: DNVGL-ST-0145, NORSOK Standards, EN 13445, EN 5199, EN 13480, EN 14015, PED, other similar European standards.
  • General: Project to be developed under German codes and standards and subject to the approval by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH).
