Project Engineer - MFC - Contract
Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Project Engineer to join in office/site on a 12 Month rolling contract with the intention of staying with the client until the refinery goes live in 2027. The client is a major petrochemical company within the energy market who operate sites all over the globe. As Project Engineer you will work with a team of project engineers and act as focal point with the Execute contractors to keep the current work scope on track and facilitate it from FEED phase all the way through to Execution/Delivery.
As such we are recruiting for a Project Engineer with 7 years experience who is comfortable working on site and in the office and who has demonstrated a clear track record in interface skills, able to work with both sub-contractors and the client. You must have previous client side/operator experience and ideally have some mix-feed cracker experience.
You will become a key Project Engineer as part of the team overseeing a project with over $9 billion of investment to date. You will move with the project from the Design office, located in Spain, fabrication yards, and then the construction site in the KSA.

Core Competencies/Requirements:
* Minimum Engineering Degree from University/College
* Minimum of 7 years experience in the Oil and Gas/Petrochemicals Industry
* Major project experience with strong design engineering/procurement background and a broad understanding of multiple disciplines and their interfaces
* Strong track record with an emphasis on safety across multi- discipline projects where Cracker experience would be an advantage.

Petroplan are currently searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of the Electrical department, participating in EPC Oil&Gas projects at the Client Offices. Electrical department has the responsibility to design and to produce all the documents and necessary drawings related to electrical equipment (power and distribution transformers, medium and low voltage switchgears, UPS, DC chargers and batteries, electrical protections, SCADA system, emergency diesel generator, generator circuit breakers, etc.) and electrical installations (earthing and lightning protection, lighting, etc.) for the construction of the plant. |
