Reporting to the LET Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for investigating and planning mechanical/piping and pressure vessel work scopes that will be executed during the planned Life Extension Turnaround for Terra Nova in 2020.
Key Accountabilities

  • Review notifications and populate work orders to articulate most viable solution to problem
  • Assemble all supporting documents, drawing and procedures for work scope execution
  • Create material masters for new materials
  • Populate SAP work order with activities, resources and materials
  • Act as point of contact with required vendors during the work scope planning phase
  • Work with project engineering to assist in the resolution engineering related items
  • Perform warehouse verification of materials/tooling
  • Compile tender documents

Qualifications

  • Formal certification (diploma/degree) in mechanical or pipefitting areas
  • Experience with an offshore oil and gas environment. Minimum 2-5 years' experience
  • Experience planning work activities within a computerized maintenance software system
  • Experience working with P&IDs, Piping Isometrics and Mechanical Drawings
  • Experience with piping, mechanical and pressure vessel standards
  • Experience with MS Office and SAP would be an asset Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment

Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Reporting to the M, E & I team lead, the E&I Engineer will provide engineering support to the reliability engineering team as outlined in the responsibilities section outline below. The E&I Engineer ensures assigned scope of work are evaluated using a questioning attitude to ensure the work is effectively completed in line with expectation of the task and the M, E and I team lead.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree in Engineering and Professional Engineering designation with minimum 5 years related experience in the Petro-Chemical/Oil and Gas business.
  • Experience in electrical safety, power generation/distribution, small power equipment, heat trace and electric motors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial process instrumentation, fire and gas detection equipment, metering systems, safety instrumented systems, hazardous locations and control valves.
  • Knowledge and experience in environmental, safety and loss prevention process and practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management processes including risk assessment and risk mitigation planning.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management, and the ability to lead through influence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry practices, standards, rules and regulations.
  • Planning, communication (presentation and technical writing), and continuous improvement/engineering skills required to deliver overall value; and
  • Computer fluent MS/Office and experience with SAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support on electrical and instrumentation issues as required including Process Hazard Assessments (PHA);
  • Maintain FPSO electrical and instrumentation discipline documents;
  • Provide technical support and input to project and life of field teams on electrical and instrumentation issues, including project design reviews, technical specifications, and equipment selection.
  • Create and update material masters for electrical and instrumentation equipment, material and components for the FPSO.
  • Create and develop monthly Safety and Environmental Critical (SEC) reports.
  • Responsible for management of Terra Nova Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS);


Support Regulatory Query Form (RQF) development and regulatory queries/observations in cooperation with Operations support group.

  • Resolve electrical and instrumentation related Technical Queries (TQs) and develop Change Requests (CRs) as required, ensuring adherence to the Management of Change process.
  • Drive continuous improvement in performance and carry out commercial support e.g., contract adherence, PM02 generation, and invoice verification.
  • Work with the maintenance engineering, equipment strategy and reliability teams to execute and optimize planned maintenance strategies of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Support M, E and I lead in planning, prioritization and execution of work-scopes.
  • Provides technical advice, and mentoring to other engineers including students and contractors.
  • Provides guidance to Operations / Electrical and instrumentation maintenance personnel as required; and
  • Makes recommendations that affect safety and production on the FPSO.

Reporting to the LET Heat Trace/Fabric Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible to review and update Electrical Heat Trace documentation, and when required plan work scopes that will be executed during the planned Life Extension Turnaround for Terra Nova in 2022.
Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, review and mark-up Electrical Heat Trace iso's and circuit diagrams
  • Include design changes to remove temporary repairs, update heat trace material types, review and incorporate safety critical element changes to Electrical Heat Trace documentation
  • Ensure design changes minimize duplication to other LET Electric Heat Trace scopes
  • Update Electric Heat Trace iso's bill of materials for incorporation into the drydock master material take off
  • Review project legacy changes to P&ID's for impact to Electrical Heat Trace documentation
  • Populate and manage documentation register to track progress of design changes
  • Maintain visibility of all changes to documentation packages from concept to final issue
  • Liaison with Document Control for retrieval and problem resolution of working files
  • Ensure mark-ups align with documentation drafting procedure from concept to final issue
  • Work with LET drafting/planning to assist in the resolution of design related issues

Reporting to the LET Heat Trace / Fabric Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for evaluating and planning fabric maintenance work scopes that will be executed during the projected Life Extension Turnaround for Terra Nova FPSO in 2022.
Key Accountabilities

  • Review SAP notifications, work orders, and inspection reports, and populate SAP work orders to develop most effective/efficient plan
  • Assemble and mark up all supporting documents and drawings
  • Create documentation for chemical screening of new materials required for fabric maintenance
  • Create material masters for new materials
  • Complete and monitor External Services Requests for call-offs for external services
  • Populate SAP work orders with activities, resources and materials
  • Where required act as point of contact with vendors during the work scope planning phase
  • Work with project team to support planning of all fabric maintenance activities, including that related to heat tracing of piping and pressure vessels
  • Work together with other subject matter expert (SME) planners to develop fully planned work scopes
  • Assemble/File/Print completed work order packages electronically and paper copies where required
  • Prepare permits with all supporting documentation for work execution related to the project
  • Participate in health, environmental, and safety policies and procedures


Qualifications

  • Certification/Diploma in a field related to fabric maintenance and/or a combination of experience
  • Experience with offshore oil and gas facilities. Minimum 5 years' related experience
  • Experience planning work activities within a computerized maintenance software system
  • Experience with P&IDs, Piping & Electrical Heat Trace Isometrics, and Mechanical Documents
  • Experience with pipe and pressure vessel insulation, coatings systems, scaffolding and access requirements, in an industrial/construction environment
  • Experience reading and interpreting piping drawings, heat trace drawings, specifications and procedures
  • Experience in estimation of hours for scaffolding/access, industrial insulation, and coating systems
  • Experience with MS Office, Document Management, SAP systems and PTW (permit to work) would be an asset

Subsea Project Turnover Manager

Reporting to the Turnover Manager, SSP TO Support will support all aspects relating to turnover throughout all phases of the Subsea Project for Terra Nova in 2021/2022.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports project turnover kickoff meetings, and completion/Turnover meetings with the Contractor/Vendor
  • Ensures Contractor/Vendor delivers system/part system to redline list, tag exhibit list, etc.
  • Provides support on document upload into Completions Management System (CMS)
  • Reviews final punch items in CMS
  • Reviews Turnover documentation for completeness and expedite review by FE/QA and regulators as required
  • Ensures timely review of Turnover documentation and facilitates sign off MC/TCCC, and HCCC handover packages
  • Maintain database content to ensure that all engineering/scope changes are captured
  • Assist Teams with CMS usage and/or troubleshooting
  • Assists with population of database with validated tagged equipment, asset data, project documents, project schedule etc.
  • Assists with ensuring CMS data is configured to meet project specific requirements

Reporting to the ALE Operations Manager, the TO Manager has overall accountable for the management of the TO team throughout all phases of the Life Extension Turnaround for Terra Nova in 2021/2022.

Key Accountabilities

  • Overall accountability for driving safety culture within the Turnover Team to meet or exceed LET2022 Project Safety Targets
  • Overall accountability for safe and efficient execution of LET 2022 Project Turnover activities
  • Overall accountability for LET 2022 Project Turnover processes, procedures, and readiness
  • Overall accountability for CMS Turnover Process development and execution
  • Overall responsibility for Turnover activities in Drydock and Phase 3 between DDC MC and CSU as well as Turnover between CSU and RFO
  • Responsible to ensure all Turnover documentation meets company Quality Standards as outlined in the LET2022 Quality Management Plan
  • Key Management interface with regulatory agency (LR), QA/QC personnel and FE's to ensure defined scopes of work are packaged for Handover to the receiving parties in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify risks and opportunities of project execution and commissioning activities to ALE Manager
  • Utilize Lessons Learned from previous commissioning projects to improve LET Turnover processes
  • Mentor Turnover Team in Turnover and CMS processes
