Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Marine Specialist to join their offices in Surrey on a long-term contract. The client is a major consultancy within the energy market. As Marine Specialist, you will support the Civil and Marine manager.
As such we are recruiting for a Marine Specialist who will be providing PMC oversight and guidance service to ADNOC for the FEED of a greenfield LNG production facility in the Middle East. The key responsibility is to is to interface with ADNOC management and SMEs, interface with FEED contractor(s), provide direction and expert knowledge.
The role will be based in England reporting to the Marine Manager as such candidates are required to have right to work in the UK.

Role Synopsis
The Project Development Manager will provide frontend Appraise Select project development expertise supporting the Appraisal General Manager Key Accountabilities Provide technical support at the front end of a project Development a clear business case several viable options and propose one or two workable options for further review in select Manager a broad range of discipline personnel from subsurface drilling commercial and legal and facilities engineering Engage with stake holders such as partners governmental groups etc Clearly understand PSA Field Development terms and apply within outline statement of requirements for field development Ensure clear benchmarking and assurance reviews of proposed concepts Implement al Major Common Process expectations Develop the appraisal plan ensure adequate Front End Loading schedule developed and implement Support all assurance reviews and develop clear Risk management process Support development of the Decision Support Packages and Define FM Develop options in the event the Define FM is not approved Prepare project HSSE compliance plans and ensure a smooth handover from development to the Define Execute Phase
Essential Criteria
Degree qualified in Engineering
Significant experience in engineering project development construction project management or drilling subsurface sciences
Experience of developing or managing major projects in the oil and gas energy sector
Experience in project design construction and operation Proven abilty to lead projects whilst prioritising and managing a workload to meet defined deadines
Strong understanding of HSSE polices including integrity management and major hazards assessment
Experience of conducting technoeconomic project appraisals
Experience of technical due diligence or technical risk assessment Experience of managing third party vendors and consultants
Desirable Criteria Chartered Professional engineer status

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The GPC (Global Project Centre) Co-ordinator reports to the GPC Administration Manager, supporting all GPC&AP (Asia Pacific) London business units. Coordinators assigned to a project will also report to their assigned Project Manager and team.
As assistants, Coordinators are responsible for a variable and diverse range of tasks and are required to have skills at the appropriate level to match. Coordinators ensure that team members are fully inducted into their functions/project, organise equipment and access to systems and any training required. Day to day, Coordinators execute general administration, SP/IT/PO, travel, secretarial and PA tasks.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
