We are looking for a Project Procurement Manager (with strong Subcontracts experience), to join our client based in Surrey to support a start-up Project in Scotland. You will collaborate with the Regional Subcontracts and Procurement Manager and Project Director for the Project Execution.

As the Project Procurement Manager:

• Act as a single point of contact between the Procurement/Subcontracts team and the Project Execution team
• Manage the Procurement and Subcontracts Sourcing Plan and work closely with the Project Director to successfully plan and execute the Capital Procurement scope and the Subcontracts tendering, evaluation and award and contract administration management for the Project. Experience in technical and commercial evaluations for key equipment packages and construction contracts is key.
• AP has remeasure contracts for construction based on engineered quantities, hence the experience in subcontracts for understanding quantity based monthly payment applications against progress is critical for the project success and reporting requirements. Change management will be a key part of the contract administration for site based contracts.
• Have oversight of and maintain Project Material Registry to plan and track equipment and material status including supporting site teams with delivery updates and status and alignment with the main site Subcontracts schedules.
• Prepare and issue inquiries, requisitions/Contracts, and purchase orders/Contracts according to the project schedule including payment milestones against key deliverables.
• Negotiate with suppliers to acquire globally competitive price, delivery, and contract terms
• Have oversight for the collaboration for Procurement Packages working closely with Expeditors, Inspection, Logistics and Materials Management to ensure the accurate level of interventions required are handled for approval of Purchase Order requirements against the schedule.
• Maintain Commercial interface with suppliers. Handle warranty claims, backcharges, and liquidated damages. Have experience in handling contract claims for prolongation, growth, delay analysis including management of correspondence between suppliers.
• Handle cost reporting inputs and budget for the Capital Procurement Scope and Contract Management of the project, including the equipment/materials/construction costs as well as the Procurement/Supply chain hours expended. Clarity of contract deliverables to support planning and execution teams is key to the success of this role.

You will have:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher, in Engineering or Business Management; with Quantity Surveying an advantage
• Extensive experience in Project (EPC) execution environment
• Experience in issuance and managing execution of requisitions/purchase orders for material, equipment, and services and contract placement with ongoing contract administration.
• Accreditation from Supply Chain industry organization (i.e., MCIPS, CPSM)
• Knowledge of commercial purchasing/contracting procedures and practice, including aspects of negotiation and contract law
• Familiar with SAP and SmartPlant Materials
• Ability to bring teams together to resolve issues and achieve targets and goals
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiating skills

We are currently working for an established EPC based in Surrey who is looking for a CCUS Consultant who will be responsible for the CCUS market, including business development and project delivery. Our client has been delivering ground braking work on CO2 transportation, overall CCS chain designs and cost estimates and most recently delivered the first commercial scale CCS with power locally. You will be an addition to the team as the work load in CCS increases, focussing on the Green Hydrogen market and the role will include business development as well as project delivery.

• Supporting Consultancy Business Development, providing technical presentations to clients during the tender phase as well as preparing consultancy proposals
• Managing Hydrogen studies including screening , feasibility studies, conceptual definition and working on detailed design
