About the role:

You will be building strong relationships with most areas of the business, and providing commercial support to VP's and Team Leaders.

• Performing the monthly margin analysis review, cost control and reporting including response to the Office of National Statistics
• Reviewing Cost Centre reports, posting accruals as necessary and documenting all major variances to budget.
• Support the sales and overhead budgeting process by identifying revenue and cost drivers and inputting data into the budget templates.
• Initiating & supporting the development of new processes & procedures. You will gain a good understanding of the different contractor pricing models in operation & ensure that all local tax requirements have been properly accounted for (and are compliant)
• Preparing GP commission calculations for Recruiters, Team Leaders and Account Managers globally on a monthly and quarterly basis and responding to queries when required
• Provide Sales Tax support (VAT/GST) to the UK Accountant and any other ad hoc financial, operational and reporting tasks/projects

What we are looking for:

• Qualified in accountancy & experience in financial analysis & planning
• Intermediate to expert spreadsheet techniques
• Ability to break down complex financial issues to make them easy to understand
• Committed, keen and a detail orientated team approach to work
• Working well under pressure and proven experience in adaptability and organisational & prioritisation skills to deliver exception administrative work
• Persuasive and persistent skills while being resilient and robust to effectively deal with work demands
