VP of Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION

The VP of Sales is a critical company strategic role focused on driving new business and industrial verticals, revenue, sales, client relationships, and partnership deals. This position will report directly to the CEO and will play a key role as a member of the senior management team. This entrepreneurial executive will leverage our client's patented-protected unique technology and innovative IP to drive remarkable client solutions and outcomes. S/he will be responsible for both building and managing a highly engaged and agile sales team in the company's leading verticals of leachate, mining and oil & gas, while also architecting the business and client sales approach by vertical. Success will be measured by revenue, number of client operations and type of clients engaged.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in driving new business, and a healthy mix of working with large and leading companies as well as start-up and high-growth company experience. This will be both a hands-on and managerial role as you build and develop your game plan and team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will drive the company's sales efforts in the areas of prospecting, identifying and qualifying new opportunities, maximizing relevant sales opportunities, and closing contracts. A strong focus will be placed on developing and managing relationships with partners, creating synergies for business growth opportunities. This position will play a key role in implementing and progressing the Business Development Plan in collaboration through our sales force with our strategic partners, customers, and leads.

It will be essential to have experience selling a water treatment solution to the oil and gas industry.
