We have 2 vacancies for Service Desk/Helpdesk Associates II & III at our client's new office in Houston!

Job Summary:
As a Service Desk Associate II/III, you will be responsible for providing the initial assessment, triage, research and resolution of basic incidents and requests. You will also be responsible for hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution via telephone/email/chat for the company's clients (internal). This person may also be responsible to administer and provide user account provisioning. Use of the Incident management system to document and manage problems and work requests and document their respective resolutions. The Service Desk associate is responsible for answering calls, maintaining quality, meeting SLAs, acting as an escalation point and ensuring a successful Service Desk Operation.

Core Duties:

  • Serve as first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance by self-service portal, email or telephone.
  • Create incidents and service requests on behalf of clients when needed.
  • Set the priority for resolving incidents based on impact and urgency.
  • Investigating and diagnosing incidents and researching solutions.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Be responsible for updating service requests
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Identify, recommend and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Acts as a model of customer service excellence to all organizational staff members with emphasis on building strong relationships with our employees.
  • Answer all phone calls, provide quality "white glove" service to all callers.
  • Participate in the Service Desk inbox, accepts tickets (incidents) and updates the ticket appropriately.
  • Ensures all customer issues, incidents, and problems are raised within our internal ticketing system and reach resolution within customer contractual timelines with a high level of satisfaction
  • Takes charge and own all incidents: relaying incident information to the Service Desk Team Lead and Manager, ensuring high level of coordination and communication between the employees and Information Technology Team.
  • Perform an RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to determine, document and communicate solutions to our customers for all issues.
  • Develops / improves repeatable processes and procedures
  • Populates knowledgebase of known issues and problem solutions
  • Ensures global organizational standards based on ITIL principles are implemented into daily Service Desk processes
  • Participate in the continued development of the Service Desk knowledgebase to allow first call resolution with the Service Desk team
  • Adjusts priorities to respond to pressing and changing demands caused by operational or project situations
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Potential after hours support & On-call rotation; must have internet access from home.


Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

  • 2-5 years of work experience in a Call Center/Service Desk.
  • Minimum of 2 yrs.' experience in a team environment.

What You Will Do:

Collaborate and guide with Engineering team members and Plant Managers to ensure compliance of applicable assets.

Lead all aspects of research and analysis of various compliance obligations to develop annual priorities that include tasks such as gaps analysis, potential self-reports, Regional Entity or ISO self-certification, implementation of new standards and changes to existing requirements.

Improve knowledge and expertise in the field of BES reliability compliance. Act as the primary in-house compliance specialist and a single point of contact for technical issues on reliability compliance activities.

Who You Are:
You possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferred specialization: Electrical) or equivalent combination of experience and education

7 years of relevant work experience in compliance engineer.

Strong compliance and regulatory background to perform engineering assessment in-house.

Knowledge and understanding of Reliability Compliance framework in the United States and Canada.

Experience in managing, evaluating and performing compliance with Reliability Standards and Market Rules.

Sr. Workday Analyst

The Senior Workday Analyst will support our Talent (HR) team, other internal business partners, and company management in the development, on-going maintenance, and operational and technical support of all aspects of the Workday HCM system. In addition, this person is expected to take a critical role in the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of key Talent projects that leverage the Workday platform.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Workday HCM system expert and point-of-contact for day-to-day support of business processes, integration support, reporting, and dashboards to ensure consistent, high-quality business operations
  • Partner with our Talent team and other internal stakeholders to help them define business requirements, implement, test, and deploy additional HCM modules, changes to business processes, or integrations as needed
  • Develop system reporting and analytics to enable our Talent business partners to identify trends and to empower leadership decision-making
  • Work with IT security team to manage security re-assignments, user access and permissions, and integrations-related security issues
  • Support and test Workday system updates or upgrades
  • Identify system gaps and deficiencies, and if applicable, suggest best practices or process improvements to help fill those gaps
  • Conduct long-term improvement projects to ensure compatibility with the company's evolving business applications landscape and needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of HRIS experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Workday experience
  • Strong configuration knowledge of Workday HCM, including Workday Recruiting, Core HCM , Benefits, and Compensation.
  • Strong Workday Reporting including Advanced Reports, Matrix, and composite reports.
  • Work experience at a company that has implemented Workday HCM
  • Understand Workday security, compliance, and controls to effectively manage and maintain security and roles.
  • Familiarity with Workday integrations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Experience working with confidential information and critical business operations and processes
  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements or objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with aggressive timelines and delivery dates
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to set clear expectations with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in a Technology-related field)

Job Summary

The Senior Corporate Finance & Planning Analyst will be responsible for corporate modeling, variance analysis, budgets and forecasts, and business analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate modeling for annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Screen possible E&P acquisition transactions by evaluating pro forma financial information and related capital market activity

Essential Job Functions

Manages and leads the activities of engineers, maintenance crafts and specialists to ensure process safety, reliability, maintenance and cost goals of company's assets are achieved

Manages reliability engineering projects and processes, performs analytical verification and evaluates, tests and tracks results of reliability interventions

Oversees and has responsibility for:

o equipment installation and maintenance for plant assets;

o defining and owning equipment upgrades and modifications;

o leading small capital projects as it relates to equipment upgrades;

Skilled in the utilization of systems (ERP, maintenance, etc) for the development of maintenance processes and KPIs (such as MTBF) for reliability and work process improvement

Applies deep knowledge of functional failure prevention for mechanical and electrical systems

Incorporates process improvement tools and applications of lean and six sigma methodologies for asset maintenance and reliability improvement

Ensures safety and environmental compliance by supporting process hazard analysis, incident investigations, procedure development, management of change, while providing technical assistance for work scope development and assessment of reliability impacts on equipment

Effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and in all departments of the company in order to ensure their engagement and support of business improvement activities

Educational and Skills Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical preferred)

10 years of direct experience in reliability and maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment

3 years of engineering experience in a plant environment with medium industrial settings (process manufacturing, specialty chemical plant) with rotating or fixed equipment (examples; pumps, blowers, compressors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, boilers, pressure vessels, tanks & piping)

3 years of management/leadership experience

Knowledge of the field's standards and specifications such as ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/ASTM

Application of reliability and maintenance engineering troubleshooting techniques to optimize manufacturing processes and equipment

PSM/RMP experience

Must have personal computer proficiency, business administration expertise, and the ability to communicate ideas orally and in writing as well as lead project teams

Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean manufacturing experience

Project management experience preferred

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
