What You Will Do:
Collaborate and guide with Engineering team members and Plant Managers to ensure compliance of applicable assets.

Manages and leads the activities of engineers, maintenance crafts and specialists to ensure process safety, reliability, maintenance and cost goals of company's assets are achieved Manages reliability engineering projects and processes, performs analytical verification and evaluates, tests and tracks results of reliability interventions Oversees and has responsibility for: o equipment installation and maintenance for plant assets; o defining and owning equipment upgrades and modifications; o driving solutions to increase uptime and overall asset effectiveness; o studying equipment performance and reliability and providing solutions/ideas for improvements; o leading small capital projects as it relates to equipment upgrades; o executing reliability and maintenance strategy roadmap. Utilizes sound human relations and communications skills to provide development of direct reports and motivation of staff resulting in a reliable and competent work force Skilled in the utilization of systems (ERP, maintenance, etc) for the development of maintenance processes and KPIs (such as MTBF) for reliability and work process improvement Applies deep knowledge of functional failure prevention for mechanical and electrical systems Incorporates process improvement tools and applications of lean and six sigma methodologies for asset maintenance and reliability improvement Ensures safety and environmental compliance by supporting process hazard analysis, incident investigations, procedure development, management of change, while providing technical assistance for work scope development and assessment of reliability impacts on equipment Effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and in all departments of the company in order to ensure their engagement and support of business improvement activities

Educational and Skills Requirements |

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical preferred) 10 years of direct experience in reliability and maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment 3 years of engineering experience in a plant environment with medium industrial settings (process manufacturing, specialty chemical plant) with rotating or fixed equipment (examples; pumps, blowers, compressors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, boilers, pressure vessels, tanks & piping) 3 years of management/leadership experience Knowledge of the field's standards and specifications such as ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/ASTM Application of reliability and maintenance engineering troubleshooting techniques to optimize manufacturing processes and equipment PSM/RMP experience Must have personal computer proficiency, business administration expertise, and the ability to communicate ideas orally and in writing as well as lead project teams Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean manufacturing experience Project management experience preferred Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
