Summary

Responsibilities

* Provide frontline, visible safety leadership in the field and drive Topsides Fabrication Contractor to excel
* Monitor and verify that structural work of the Topsides Fabrication Contractor is executed safely, in accordance with IFC document deliverables, on time and within budget
* Monitor structural activities in construction schedule of Topsides Fabrication Contractor and assist in mitigating issues if/when they arise
* Provide structural input to assist SCM in evaluating the merit of discipline specific change proposals and claims submitted by Topsides Fabrication Contractor
* Coordinate internal (and external review where necessary) of structural engineering deliverables of Topsides Fabrication Contractor, and subcontractors thereto, including:
* Lifting plans for deck floats and module integration (incl. Pipe Deck, DES LD/UD onto lift beams, DES DF/UD onto DES LD/UD, derrick onto DES DF pedestal columns, FSB to FSF, LQ to FSB, flare boom etc.)
* Transport of fully integrated DES by Self-propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) from current location in yard to lift point alongside FSF
* DES Jack and Skid operation to integrate DES with FSF
* Installation of LMU's
* SIT support frame
* Load-out of Topsides to transportation vessel and sea-fastening thereafter
* Coordinate internal responses to SQs/TQs/SIs related to structural scope, monitor and verify implementation and close-out by Topsides Fabrication Contractor
* Coordinate and manage interfaces between Topsides Fabrication Contractor and Transportation or Surveyors.
*Participate in tri-party walk-downs specific to structural area completions
* Identify potential changes to the Execution Manager as and when they become known
* Actively participate in change management activity to ensure impacts are assessed before change is realized in the field

Qualifications

* 10 years of experience in project management and oversight of contractors
* Demonstrated awareness and proactive approach to EHS
* Experience and understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and mechanical completion and commissioning

Traveling Project Controls Coordinator (Contract)

Job Responsibilites:

  • Analyze and maintain the project costs at the WBS level including control budget, incurred costs, commitments, and forecast.

Job Qualifications:

  • Four Year Degree or combination of education and related experience.
  • 5 years of Project Controls or Project Management experience.
  • PMP designation is preferred
  • Experienced analytical skills including Earned Value Management are required
  • Proficient in the use of EcoSys, Oracle, PCMS systems and MS office suite, intermediate Excel skills.
  • Detail oriented and understands the importance of data reconciliation

This company has assets across the domestic United States and is looking to add an experienced Environmental Compliance professional to assist with the ongoing operations and requirements of the team. This role will work closely with several senior leaders within the business and be vital in working to establish new processes and procedures where they see fit.

Some key responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:

  • Become familiar with all aspects of the Clean Air Act (CAA) Consent Decree to understand injunctive terms/requirements, reporting requirements, etc
  • This position will be charged with framing up project objectives/scope and then working with teams to develop plans to complete projects (i.e. developing plans, identifying timelines, reporting on progress, etc.).
  • Prepare routine reports.

Our client is establishing a Gulf of Mexico Development organization to further integrate and deliver the Development strategy. This team will drive project delivery from pre-development through operation, align all stakeholders across the asset life cycle, and enable value by unlocking development opportunities through an integrated and predictable delivery model.

REPORTING
The SURF Lead will report functionally to the SURF Developments Manager and administratively to the Facilities Developments Manager.

JOB FUNCTION
Lead the Subsea, Umbilical, Riser and Flowline (SURF) design, integration, and delivery scopes for tieback project(s). Lead subsea project team(s) of internal Contractors in the management of the project(s) subsea scopes and provide direction to 3rd Party Contractors that support the project(s) development.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • In conjunction with the SURF Developments Manager, provide a comprehensive and consistent approach to SURF project planning & execution across all project(s) stages
  • Provide technical solution and scope development for tieback project(s)
  • Lead embedded contractor resources required to support project(s) execution
  • Manage 3rd Party contractor resources to support SURF project(s) execution
  • Ensure comprehensive value capture approach through project(s) opportunities, risk, cost, and schedule development
  • Support the integration of key innovation and technology facets into SURF developments
  • Leverages relationships with contractors, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to enable strong project delivery
  • Adherence to the Management of Change process
  • Support Operations Handover and Startup activitie

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 years of relevant offshore SURF project delivery experience in offshore oil and gas
  • Comprehensive understanding of SURF equipment, including fabrication, controls, hardware, rigid and flexible pipe, and installation
  • Experience in interface management between 3rd Party Contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Experience providing SURF engineering and design management, including project execution experience from early engineering through execution/implementation
  • SURF construction management experience, including contract execution, and installation management
  • Understands Project Controls and Information Management requirements to support project cost, schedule, management of change, and document management processes
  • Knowledge of key SURF-Topsides-Hull interfaces to ensure comprehensive project evaluation and delivery
  • Understanding of offshore regulatory requirements in the Gulf of Mexico as they relate to SURF and overall project delivery
  • Comprehensive understanding of project risk management and mitigations to execute offshore oil and gas projects


Education, Training & Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Working knowledge and use of Project Control systems and processes
  • Held subsea lead role in offshore oil and gas project(s)

Program Specialist - Competency Assurance and Training

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for upholding asset Competency Assurance and Training (CAT) procedures to ensure compliance. The individual in this position, working with subject matter experts and asset level leaders, helps ensure the safety, efficiency, and development of our personnel.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Development and Improvements:

  • Identify and facilitate steering team meetings.
  • Identify and document decision-making for program improvements.
  • Secure appropriate signoffs and approvals for all program components.
  • Develop asset/business unit/functional procedures for Competency Assurance and Training.


Competency Assurance:

  • Develop assessment methods and protocols in collaboration with the steering team and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Attend meetings and assist with program changes required and improvements requested.
  • Monitor area recertifications and communicate to leadership.
  • Complete analysis and review assessment results, working with impacted individuals, steering teams, and leadership to develop gap closure plans.
  • First point of contact for questions pertaining to assessments, position training requirements, and CAT standards, guidelines, and procedures.


Training:

  • Develop position specific training matrices.
  • Identify training needs and learning outcomes for course offerings.
  • Provide expected learning objectives and outcomes to training vendors/internal.
  • Solicit feedback from training participants, front-line supervisors, and leadership.
  • Recommend improvements and monitor training quality.


Relationships:
Build trusted relationships with organizations focused on skill development and workforce training.

  • Collaborate with other functional groups, such as: Human Resources, EHS and Global Supply Chain.


Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop consistent methods of measuring competency assurance across disciplines.
  • Research and recommend solutions to address performance gaps.


Other:

  • Complete reporting and uploading of documentation required for regulatory reporting.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added to scope of work based on business need.
