Job Responsibilities:

  • Vetting, negotiating and resolving contractor's change requests
  • Interface with key internal and external stakeholders such as HSE, Quality and Technical
  • High level of problem solving as Change Proposals (CPs), or change requests, significantly vary in nature (e.g. discipline touched, compensation mechanism…)


Job Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate in engineering or business required
  • SCM related certification (e.g. SCMP) an asset
  • Engineering background an asset
  • 8 years of contract administration/management related experience required
  • Experience in working in a project environment required
  • Experience in running RFx process an asset
  • Working in cross-functional team (HSE, Quality, Technical, Project Services) required
  • Experience in negotiating and resolving commercial matters required
  • Experience in managing large scale fabrication contract(s) an asset

Project Manager - Brownfield Projects

We are looking for a for a Brownfield Project Manager who has strong and proven hands-on experience in engineering, projects experience (brownfield) and production experience in upstream oil and gas.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering - Electrical preferred
  • 5-10 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience working on brownfield projects

Accounting Analyst (Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly financial closeout process, including
    • Compilation and review of monthly financial activity in departmental variance analysis meeting
    • Compile and book selected monthly accruals
    • Review and confirm various postings and reports prepared by staff members
    • Variance analyses on financial and production data as requested by corporate office and by local management
  • Address and troubleshoot ad hoc issues/requests and changes to the business as they arise. This includes:
    • Accounting impacts from process or system changes, upgrades, and restrictions
    • Reviews and calculations of complex transactions
    • Journal entry corrections and re-class entries as necessary
    • CEMAC Foreign Exchange regulations
    • Research, respond to and resolve historical / legacy accounting issues and questions
  • Overall accounting responsibility for legacy international companies, including but not limited to reviews of: journal entry, wire clearing, Blackline balance sheet account reconciliations, intercompany reviews, and:
    • Historical audit support
    • Company disposition, branch closure support
    • Semi-annual dividend / capital distributions
    • Annual statutory reporting
  • Compile and calculate monthly EG payroll taxes due on expat compensation
  • Administer accounting for leases under the accounting standard ASC 842
  • Reconcile and validate data from SAP to various government reports (Statement of Expenditures (SOE) and Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons (MMH) reports)
  • Perform annual true-up and reallocation of mooring costs
  • Local Administer for the balance sheet account reconciliation tool Blackline
  • Responsible for the administration of allocation cycles and annual updates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree with a major in Accounting required
  • Accounting Certification preferred (CPA) but not required
  • Experience in Accounting, Planning and/or Financial Analysis required
  • Previous experience in an international assignment helpful but not required
  • MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
  • SAP and BW
  • SharePoint
  • Intermediate Spanish

Under general direction, responsible for defining requirements, functional specifications and testing documentation for engineering software applications, which varies in scope and complexity. Ensures that the Technical Software Development process is followed on the development project. Works with others to improve the process. Designs, codes, tests, troubleshoots, and documents engineering software applications. Works as part of a project team or as a leader of a defined section of a major project. Develops project plans, functional specifications and schedules. Assists in determining product needs and enhancements. Typical project assignments will have moderately broad impact. The primary target will be the next release of the software, although some projects may have architectural implications beyond the next release. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, and 4 years of related experience or through 8 years of software development experience.
