Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Financial Planning Analyst on behalf of an international Exploration and Production Company in the Houston, TX area. It is pivotal in this role that you have a strong understanding and prior track record working for Exploration and Production companies focused on either international or domestic operations.

In this position, the successful incumbent will manage the near and long term forecasting and scheduling process and serve as a key liaison between accounting, treasury and operations. This position will also ensure project costs are tracked and forecast.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate schedules for numerous projects across company assets
  • Must be able to understand the ongoing obligations outlined in contractual agreements in order to ensure partners are notified properly in advance of funding requests
  • Build business functions for annual and multi-year plans
  • Guide and direct key people within the accounting organization to ensure the proper allocation of receivables and general understanding of how to bill appropriate parties for turnkey projects
  • Actively work with accounting, treasury and land to track and forecast project related payments
  • Build and maintain models that allow portfolio management and prioritization of activities
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders and pursue follow up actions and solutions
  • Assist Management team with weekly and monthly project updates and forecasts
  • Assist with budget and annual planning process
  • Act as liaison with Accounting, Asset Management, Finance, and Production groups to standardize data used for internal reporting.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, business, or related discipline required
  • 5 years in the Oil and Gas industry, specifiaclly withing the E&P sector
  • Strong communication skills within all levels of the organization, which include verbal, written and nonverbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas terminology for all E&P operations including production, accounting, drilling, completions, P&A, field development, etc.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint required

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Process Engineering Advisor to join an international exploration & production company, based in Houston, TX. This role will provide Subject Matter Expert level leadership for process engineering, facilities design, and optimization while driving towards lowering emissions at every facility throughout the busiess across multiple assets.

The individual will work with asset teams to accurately understand and characterize the current operating conditions and design requirements throughout the well life cycle, ensuring a consistent engineering evaluation is performed. The ideal candidate will drive compliance, acting as a bridge between the engineering and environment teams while balancing the operational and economic viability of any proposed changes with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 10 years' experience in onshore facility design and operation
  • BSc Engineering degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Practical operations/design experience in multiple unconventional basins
  • Experienced in transient process modeling and simulation with software such as ProMax, Hysys etc.
  • Knowledge of up to date EPA legislation/regulations for emissions management related to oil and gas facilities
  • Strong track record leading multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex model-driven problems
  • Experience implementing TVCS
