Role Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records. This position includes responsibility for managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Experience:

• 4-6 years of accounting experience

Skills and Knowledge:

• Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in effectively engaging with senior management.

Certifications:

• CPA certification is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process, facilitating the preparation of monthly management reports and necessary SEC filings.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Record, analyze, and report accounting transactions while upholding the integrity, accuracy, and adherence to established accounting policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors in relation to the company's financial statements.
• Provide assistance in various accounting and internal control functions as required.
• Support the Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of monthly management reports and SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K).
• Work with team members to establish and monitor performance goals and objectives, fostering professional development.
• Contribute to other accounting and special projects as requested.

**This position will require 5 days in the office and overtime hours when necessary
