Global Payroll Analyst

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and execute payroll for 400 employees incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. electronically.
  • Support the Global Mobility needs of company and manage international immigration and visa administration.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Authorize, review and/or enter payroll transactions and related data.
  • Oversee case management and program administration, working as the main point of contact to coordinate assignments, immigration, tax consultations with tax partners, and relocation programs.
  • Provide operational support regarding all global mobility matters
  • Serve as a main point of contact for candidates and employees who will be relocating for business purposes (internationally and domestically where applicable).
  • Oversee Global Mobility vendors (tax, relocation, immigration).
  • Manage timecards, time entry, and timekeeping software and systems.
  • Process garnishments, deductions and multi-state tax.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll and entering time from employees and managers.
  • Coordinate and interact with federal and state agencies on specialized issues pertaining to employee compensation and deductions.
  • Provide accounting reports
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies, procedures and calendars.
  • Implement and manage processes to effectively track payroll activities such as review of leave of absence payments, retroactive payments, commissions, bonuses, new hires, terminations and expats.
  • Coordinate payroll funding requests with accounting/treasury department.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration or similar discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years or more of payroll processing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the ability to generate spreadsheets, tables, and formulas in Excel
  • Experience with ADP and UKG
  • International payroll experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience recruiting in Oil & Gas Industry preferred
  • Experience with varied & complex bonus structures preferred

Process Engineering Advisor

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Process Engineering Advisor to join an international exploration & production company, based in Houston, TX. This role will provide Subject Matter Expert level leadership for process engineering, facilities design, and optimization while driving towards lowering emissions at every facility throughout the busiess across multiple assets.

The individual will work with asset teams to accurately understand and characterize the current operating conditions and design requirements throughout the well life cycle, ensuring a consistent engineering evaluation is performed. The ideal candidate will drive compliance, acting as a bridge between the engineering and environment teams while balancing the operational and economic viability of any proposed changes with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 10 years' experience in onshore facility design and operation
  • BSc Engineering degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Practical operations/design experience in multiple unconventional basins
  • Experienced in transient process modeling and simulation with software such as ProMax, Hysys etc.
  • Knowledge of up to date EPA legislation/regulations for emissions management related to oil and gas facilities
  • Strong track record leading multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex model-driven problems
  • Experience implementing TVCS
