Job Summary:

As our client enters the execution phase of a major LNG project, we are actively looking for a Senior Manager of HSE to join their team in Houston, Texas. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, environmental compliance, and wellbeing of their workforce while overseeing HSE policies, regulations, and performance company-wide.

Location: Houston, Texas - with travel onsite required when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Preferred experience in LNG facility management.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSSE management, which includes proficiency in emergency response functions and incident investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review HSE submissions from Contractors and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with our standards.
• Provide HSE input into contracts and agreements, ensuring all requirements are clearly defined.
• Act as the primary HSE point of contact for Contractor and Subcontractor organizations.
• Create and deliver HSE training programs and requirements for our employees as well as direct contract employees.
• Develop and implement HSE policies for our project site.
• Collaborate with permitting authorities to plan for environmental reporting requirements.
• Liaise with the Security department to contribute to the formulation of security policies and procedures.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking systems to monitor and report on HSE performance across the company.
• Prepare and contribute to plans required for due diligence reports.
