Summary

The SAM will play a key role in the overall success of the organization by driving growth and profitability with targeted clients, owning the "customer experience" for identified strategic clients.

Responsibilities

  • The SAM is focused on critical success factors for driving revenue, growth and profitability with identified strategic clients across all product lines.
  • The SAM will identify, develop, and execute on opportunities for organic growth within the global operating regions relative to the strategic account's activity.
  • The SAM manages and provides direction to the respective sales managers of the responsible strategic account. He/She will create the strategy and framework by which the commercial teams around the company will operate; specific to the strategic account.
  • Monitor and evaluate tender/proposal results for the strategic accounts and market share within the region.
  • In charge of all key client relationships for target accounts.
  • Focused on fostering executive to upper-level relationships for purposes of business expansion, issue resolution, knowledge sharing, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure clearly aligned growth strategies are in place across each region/country for targeted accounts.
  • The SAM promotes a collaborative sales approach by working closely with existing sales professionals towards the execution of local business.
  • Leads business review meetings and other target client initiatives.
  • Responsible to ensure we are on the bid list for upcoming and available work, for strategic clients.
  • Works closely with Product line management on commercialization plans for new technology.
  • The SAM works diligently to assist in investigation and close out of Non-Conformance Reports and outstanding receivables (when necessary).
  • The SAM is accountable for weekly communications with operating districts, monthly dial-in meetings with regional sales managers, and updated Opportunity Landscapes on the respective strategic clients.
  • Works closely with Marketing to deliver enhanced brand equity and customer awareness.



Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree level with relevant professional qualification.
  • Highly motivated business professional that is creative and has effective communication and client service skills.
  • Learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations.
  • Has a high degree of strategic agility and can develop executable strategies.
  • Previous experience. Strong in Technical Selling and Operations. Strong in Commercial Bidding and Negotiation Skills
  • Skills Required: Management Skills, Technical, Procurement, Financial, and Personnel management. Must have good communication skills and is able to interact with peers easily.
  • Has competencies in effective writing, public speaking, and listening.
  • Must be able to travel to facility sites and supplier sites.
