Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business aligned programmer/analysts, DBA, Server support and Business Aligned Technology Lead
  • Assist in the support, maintenance and development of business critical solutions within the assigned/aligned business units
  • Collaborate with BATL, subject matter experts and project sponsors to determine solution options as it relates to project scope
  • Elicit requirements via various techniques and prioritize and analyze the resulting requirements
  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
  • Clearly identify project purpose, scope, deliverables, benefits, priority, stakeholders and success criteria
  • Assist in the collection and reporting of project status and metrics to BATL
  • Demonstrated interest in project management and project management software skills, including planning, organizing and managing resources
  • Determine most favorable solution approaches with some direction in an unbiased fashion agnostic of solution origin within the agreed upon solution identification guidelines
  • Perform other tasks as needed in order to deliver successful solutions

Our client is currently recruiting for an OpenText Architect to join our Information Technology group at their corporate office in Plano, Texas. The OpenText Architect will be responsible for building, managing, and supporting solutions for internal client groups.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement roadmaps and KPIs to plan and measure adoption of Enterprise Content Management via the OpenText Enterprise Content Management product suite

Responsibilities

  • Integrated analysis in support of the geosteering of horizontal wells in company's drilling program with the use of LWD technology; monitoring real-time data, providing real-time interpretation, and responsible for adjusting the borehole position real-time to ensure proper wellbore placement
  • Provide operational support to directional drillers, superintendents, company men, mud loggers, and open-hole logging jobs; oversee all geology related field operations with the drilling rigs
  • Generation of detailed structure maps that incorporate multiple data sources including seismic, isopach maps, lithofacies maps, cross-sections from well logs, cores, seismic interpretation, surface geology, and other geological tools
  • Generate geological prognoses and lookbacks for new wells
  • Communicate technical results to multiple technical teams, SMEs, supervisors, and upper management

Role Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in operations geologywith a high level of interest to working in operations teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences
  • Experienced with Geologic software such as StarSteer, Geographix, and ArcGIS

This role will perform the IT support efforts for SAP ECC Payroll, SuccessFactors to SAP Employee replication, and HR data file movements.   • IT Infrastructure backup and disaster recovery capabilities; ensuring on and offsite backups, redundancy, and high availability of all resources is optimized and maintained in order to minimize downtime and maximize recoverability
