Thge client is an American LNG Provider for the global demand for natural gas at a low cost, replacing traditional models with innovative, efficient and reliable mid-scale modular plant designs for long-term sustainability of clean and reliable US energy.

The Mechanical Lead will oversee the engineering, design and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment for the LNG facilities located in Louisiana.


Education:

  • BBA or MS in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

  • 10-12 years of experience on capital projects from feasibility through construction
  • 3 years' experience as a Lead Mechanical Engineer managing a team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform job responsibilities as Lead Engineer, leading discipline on medium projects or assigned under the direction of the Department Manager and/or Project Engineer for larger projects
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, governing codes and standards, and good engineering practice
  • Ensure adherence to project health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) requirements as well as state and federal regulations
  • Leads the effort in the development of mechanical engineering hour estimates for proposed projects, develop man loading and schedule concurrence.
  • Monitor the schedule, ensure that project objectives are met, monitor project controls and engineering execution within the approved budget
  • Responsible for reporting on engineering, design and equipment development status to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, and performing monthly or bi-weekly assessments of progress
  • Participate and contribute advanced level development of all phases of project engineering, including detail design and construction support
  • Experience in development of upstream production facility drawings, checking process equipment system designs and participation in hazard reviews performed to API
  • Enforces Quality in his/her team.
  • Develop the technical content of Mechanical equipment calculations, specifications and data sheets for inquiry and purchase. Ensure these documents are appropriately reviewed, approved, and transmitted
  • Has direct communication with equipment manufacturers and works clarifications to resolution.
  • Typical equipment includes Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Fired Equipment, HVAC, Pumps, Compressors. General knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
  • Procedure development including start-up, commissioning, operating and maintenance.
  • Coordinate and incorporate project requirements and standards.
  • Develop Mechanical Work Plans for the installation of equipment
  • Initiate Project Deviation Notices that impact the mechanical specifications, effort-hour budget and/or schedule
  • Coordinate and cooperate with the Engineers of other disciplines to ensure the smooth flow of all information, and to ensure alignment with project requirements and design basis
  • Initiate and runs status meetings with the mechanical team to discuss project issues, coordinate/plan key milestone efforts, etc.
  • Responsible for obtaining cost related information and developing scope of work documents for project estimates (e.g., TIC estimates)

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Operational Technology Analyst to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Louisiana-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.


Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise in OT Networks: The successful candidate will serve as a technical Subject
Matter Expert (SME) in OT Networks, possessing a deep understanding of Industrial Control Systems and
Industrial Networks.


Network Troubleshooting and Enhancement: The OT Analyst will play a vital role in resolving network
issues, serving as the go-to escalation point, even during after-hours, for advanced networking-related
challenges. They will actively contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of our OT
network infrastructure.


Technical Support and Documentation: This role encompasses responsibilities such as designing,
installing, configuring, maintaining, and documenting network systems/solutions. Furthermore, the OT
Analyst will provide critical technical support for Operations and various projects.


Cybersecurity and Network Management Expertise: The successful candidate must bring expertise in
general Cybersecurity and Network Management within an Information Technology environment. Key
areas of proficiency include:
* Successful experience in LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.
* A working knowledge of network planning, network security principles, and general network
management best practices.
* Familiarity with core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related
technologies.
* Proven experience in implementing and managing both local area and wide area networks.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Hirschmann Networking products.
* Familiarity with Controls equipment in an industrial setting, whether in engineering or
operations.

Reliability Support: Additionally, the OT Analyst will provide entry-level reliability support to theOperations team. Key areas of focus include:
* Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA): Demonstrating expertise in relevant techniques to effectively
lead RCFA exercises related to plant equipment and processes.
* Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): Possessing adequate knowledge of relevant techniques
to drive fine-tuning & improvements in existing Maintenance practices, with the goal of
achieving a cost-effective yet safe robust Maintenance strategy.

Other Key Responsibilities:
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to network configuration,
deployment, maintenance, diagrams, processes, and service records.
* Preparing documentation with the assumption that you will be unavailable during various
outages/disasters, ensuring another OT Analyst can respond effectively.
* Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting, and resolving problem areas as needed.
* Being on-call and ready to respond on-site as required, typically serving as a secondary resource
for network-related issues.
* Under guidance, upgrading and replacing hardware as needed to ensure smooth and reliable
operation aligned with business objectives.
* Performing system backups, recovery, and comprehensive testing of backup procedures and
backups.
* Collaborating with the team and other departments to assess short-term and long-term network

* Following and maintaining policies, procedures, and associated plans for network

* Initiating OT Network changes as required, utilizing VGLNG's management of change (MoC)

Qualifications:
* Possession of an associate's degree in Information Technology (IT), computer science, or a
related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant networking experience; OR possession of a
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), computer science, or a related field, with a
minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or CCNP certification is preferred.

Principal Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Principal Electrical Engineer to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Louisiana-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial technical prowess in Electrical Engineering, underpinned by an intricate comprehension of motors, transformers, switchgear, and related electrical equipment. Additionally, they will exhibit familiarity with pertinent industry norms, guidelines, and codes. A working grasp of general plant equipment within the Oil & Gas sector is pivotal for excelling in this role.

The selected candidate is mandated to provide, at a minimum, intermediate-level Reliability Engineering support to the Operations team. This support encompasses a specialized focus on:

  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA): Possessing adeptness in relevant techniques to competently lead RCFA endeavors, scrutinizing failures tied to plant equipment and processes.
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): Commanding ample knowledge in pertinent techniques to enhance and refine prevailing Maintenance practices, striving for a cost-effective and robust Maintenance strategy.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as an in-house Technical Expert, extending advice and counsel on issues pertaining to Electrical system engineering.
  • Offering day-to-day Electrical systems assistance to the Maintenance & Operations teams to ensure sustained functionality of plant equipment.
  • Delivering advanced diagnostic backing, facilitating swift production recovery during equipment failures and enforced plant outages.
  • Leading Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) initiatives, crafting technical summaries inclusive of causes and recommendations for concerned parties.
  • Providing interpretation and evaluation services for analyses and recommendations put forth by Reliability Technicians within predictive programs.
  • Aiding the Maintenance team in the planning and execution of Turnaround operations.
  • Supporting availability tracking and augmenting the overall reliability of plant equipment.
  • Undertaking the assessment of workflow processes, identifying critical spares, and outlining storage and preservation requisites for Electrical systems throughout the plant.

Qualifications encompass:

  • Education and Certifications:
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • A Professional Engineering License is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 15 years of senior engineering experience, particularly within Electrical equipment, in an industrial setting involving engineering or operations.
    • Required Oil and Gas experience, with preference for familiarity with LNG applications; however, proficiency in petrochemicals, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing is also viable.
    • A comprehensive grasp of motors, gas turbines (Frames & Aero-derivatives), and compressors.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Proficiency in CMMS Systems.
    • Competence in power system analysis.
    • Mastery of RCFA tools for conducting failure analysis

Project Engineer Manager

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Project Engineer Manager on behalf of a US based LNG provider. The company's Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable energy supplies.

About: This position will entail the coordination and execution of all front-end engineering projects through a stage gate process within the Project Team and facilitate communication between the Company Stakeholders through Project Initiation, feasibility, define, and execution phases through to handover to Operations in Cameron, Louisiana.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience, at least 5 years at a senior management level
  • Min. 5 years on LNG liquefactions (preferred), GTL, petrochemical, refinery, or gas processing/feedstock plants.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred

Experience:

  • Experience in Plant Operations required
  • Deep understanding of areas critical to the success of large complex projects: safety, environmental, work organization, cost, schedule, quality, organizational competency, and reputational risk.
  • Experience of project control systems and procedures supported by current software applications e.g., Excel, MS Project, Risk Management and Planning Software systems
  • Technical professional with proven experience in engineering and execution disciplines and delivery of projects
  • Varied experience of engineering, pre-engineering approvals, EPC or EPCM contracts
  • Understanding of discipline interfaces, execution activities and the project development and delivery process needed to enable quality control of Project Teams technical work, and ensure appropriate techniques and standards are applied and improvement opportunities are realized
