QC Welding Inspector

Our client is an industry leading metal manufacturer who is looking to hire a QC Welding Inspector due to rapid growth and increased production.


  • Receiving inspection of welding consumables
  • Inspecting and validating assembly, fit-up and tack weld, dimensions, weld size, weld length and weld type in accordance with Engineering Drawings
  • Visual inspection of completed welds


  • Recording inspection data documentation of the Non-conforming process
  • Review Material Test Reports (MTR) for incoming steel and welding wires
  • Verify material size, specification, grade, chemical composition and mechanical properties in accordance with the purchase order

QC Welding Inspection Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years welding/fabrication
  • 3 years inspection experience in structural or pipe welding shop applications
  • Read & Understand: tape measure, calipers, Engineering Drawings, weld symbols and general shop testing equipment
  • Understand ASW D1.1


  • CWI is preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 2 years' experience in a shop or field welding application and general knowledge of welding and inspection

Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
