CMMS Implementation Engineer

Petroplan are seeking an Engineer to work with our client on a contract requirement to successfully implement the clients new chosen Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and facilitate the handover to the Company for use.

The site is a major gas production and storage facility that is undergoing a major transformation. The ideal candidate will have prior, demonstrated experience in understanding use of CMMS in the Oil & Gas industry.

Location: Hampshire, UK

Rate: D.O.E

Core Competencies/Requirements:

  • Liaise with the SI to ensure the Project Implementation Plan is on schedule and within allocated resource requirements, communicating any anticipated or identified issues to the Asset Manager.
  • Work alongside the Asset Manager, to continually develop and improve the new CMMS/EAM as per the SRS and phased implementation plan.
  • Preferably a degree in Engineering, although a demonstratable background in engineering/maintenance experience may be accepted.
  • Knowledge & understanding of the standards related to Asset Management and reliability & maintenance data for equipment, such as the ISO 55000 Series & ISO 14224, and their application in industry.
  • Demonstratable experience of having implemented similar successful projects.

Petroplan are recruiting for a number of Technical Bid Evaluation Coordinators, to join a major Engineering business in Basingstoke.
You will have a technical engineering background and be responsible for leading technical bids and tenders across a number of different areas.
Contract: 12 months initially - PAYE (inside of IR35)
Location: Basingstoke

Our client have a very flexible hybrid work policy and allow for upto 12 days remote / working from home days per month.

Requirements:

  • Coordinate a team of technical specialists in charge of the execution of the technical bid evaluation (TBE) relevant to the tenders of:
    • Three (3) company provides item (CPI) (line pipe and bends, offshore power cable, ICSS).
    • Onshore pipeline Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation contract.
    • Offshore facilities (platforms and pipeline) Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation contract.
    • Onshore treatment plant Engineering, Construction contract
  • Proven competence relevant to:
    • The procurement cycle of the subject commodities (CPI)
    • The design of onshore and offshore facilities and knowledge of the relevant execution activities and sequences.
  • Support the Program Manager to set up a proper schedule of the TBE execution.
  • Set up, coordinate and attend the meeting with vendors, ensure their execution in an effective way.
  • Accountable for the timely production of the deliverables of the TBE (clarification meeting note, deviation register, technical evaluation report, etc)
  • Ensure the interface with other company and/or third party departments involved in the TBE (HSE, Procurement, etc)

  • Availability for business trips in London.



Qualifications/Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience in the role as CPI tender engineering coordinator.
  • Previous experience in the role as EPC(I) tender engineering coordinator.
  • Knowledge of design issues for CO2 treatment facilities

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience following undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of undergraduate degree

  • Defines and continuously improves end-to-end Procurement process based on business requirements, user feedback and audit results in compliance with the Technical Service Contract.
  • Defines, develops and deploys the relevant process documentation to support the procurement process including policies, procedures, guides, standard operating procedures and process maps.
  • Ownership and governance of all standard templates and guides and the central repository in which they reside.

  • Ensures that the self-verification process is in place and is delivering expected results for process conformance, while overseeing any audits as a second layer of defence to ensure conformance.
  • Be the focal point for advising practitioners about the procurement process, templates and for receiving the template related requests and CI suggestions.
  • Define and delivers effective procurement risk management process for the Procurement and Supply Chain management team. Lead the end-to-end risk and assurance process and execution, including ACDD compliance actions
  • Influencing and engaging with key stakeholders at all levels such as Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Tax, Insurance, Group Audit, the Line and Procurement and Supply Chain Management representatives to gather feedback, input and propose CI opportunities.
  • Development, improvement and deployment of training and self-help learning materials to support deployment and compliance within Procurement and Supply Chain Management and wider business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive procurement/supply chain experiences, including experiences in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing industry.
  • Deep understanding of procurement policies, standards, procedures, processes and systems.
  • Rich hands on procurement experiences in contracting, sourcing, negotiation, contract negotiation, supplier management, as well as process and system management.
  • Deep understanding of business facing requirements, planning / execution processes and experience dealing with PSA/concessionaire approvals.
  • Good knowledge of Procurement and supply chain management systems - P2P e.g. SAP/Maximo and Ariba OneSource.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Able to work under pressures; collaborate with internal and external teams and stakeholders in a multi-cultural and fast moving environment and provide prompt advice/solutions to regional and country-specific issues and challenges.
  • Knowledge of ACDD process, Human Rights and Modern Slavery Act.

The Senior Well Engineer is responsible for well planning, design and programming and for providing engineering support during execution of the drilling campaign. The role reports into the Lead Drilling Engineer.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 12 years of international experience in a broad range of job functions covering drilling engineering, completion engineering and drilling supervision or operations management

  • Recent experience in P&A and Hydraulic Workover Unit wells / projects
  • Experience of operations in diverse environments including onshore, offshore, remote and harsh environment locations with challenging logistical issues
  • Experience of a wide range of well engineering activities including the planning and execution of different well designs; exploration, appraisal, development, land, surface, subsea, deviated, horizontal and multi-lateral.
  • Planning and operational experience of exploration and development drilling projects in remote and developing African countries
  • Prior experience in a start-up operation in a fast paced and growth-focused organization would be an advantage
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with an Operator including experience with major and mid-sized companies.
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering well campaigns within Budget, Schedule, SHE and Quality targets.

Our client an EPC company are looking for a Document Controller to join them on a long term basis via PAYE in their office in London.

Job description -

Under broad direction, oversees and performs the full range of activities with associated with document management work on a Project. Coordinate execution of the document management plan and procedures. Collaborates within the department, and the Client and customer, to ensure work processes are aligned with project processes and contractual requirements. Ensure document management deliverables are understood and delivered to contract, quality, and schedule requirements.



Responsibilities -

Communicate/liaison with Project Management & Team, Client and Sub-Contractors effectively and resolve problems & issues relating to documentation, information and associated data.
Proficient in Engineering & Supplier Document distribution management.
Define and develop Project Document reports and statistics.
Work within an integrated, multi-location, Document Management team.
Communicates regularly with Document Management employees in various global offices by use of briefing sessions to share knowledge, best practices and lessons learned.
Ensures the correct implementation, utilization, maintenance and use of the Document Management processes, systems, tools e.g. IPMS, Documentum, SharePoint etc.
Production and update of Master Document Register.
Manage development and update of Distribution Matrix
Production and update of Supplier SDRL/SDLs within Project EDMS
Operate Document Request for Release process.

Experience -

  • 6 years within Document control
  • Oil & gas experience
  • Experience on Documentum or IPMS & sharepoint

Pipeline Engineer
Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Pipeline Engineer to join in office/remote on a contract basis. The client is a major EPCI within the energy market with offices all over the globe. As Pipeline Engineer you will assist the Discipline Team.
As such we are recruiting for a Pipeline Engineer who is competent interfacing with the extended team and Project Engineers within the business. Must have knowledge of ABAQUS.
Location: Aberdeen/Remote
Status: Contract
Rate: D.O.E
Core Competencies/Requirements:
* Degree Qualified in Engineering/STEM
* Experience of delivery of pipeline engineering, including in-place analysis (Both exposed and buried pipelines)
* Mobility to travel to all international locations for short business trips or missions. (If required)
* Skilled in the co-ordination of multiple interfaces across one's discipline.
