Job Title: Project Manager (Renewables)
MEng or equivalent in relevant engineering topic. Chartered Engineer status
· Run large renewable scopes of work · Responsible for all technical and commercial aspects of the project · Represent company and be responsible for communication between company and the Client · Ensure that the Project Quality Plan and the specific quality practices, resources and sequence of activities listed are identified, and implemented. · Arrange with the Management for required in-house resources to be made available · Responsible for regular internal and external reporting · Ensure that invoices are correctly compiled and submitted to the client in a timely manner. · Identification and timely notification to the Company Management and Client the contractual or commercial implications of any variations to the contract and subsequently the agreement of such variations with the client. · Co-ordination and supervision of all contracts with outside organisations connected with the project such as consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors, inspection and certification authorities. · Project approval of all project documents (procedures, standards, specifications, requisitions, calculations and drawings etc.) before issue to the client or other organisations. · Responsible for ensuring the correct compilation, distribution and archiving of the closeout project documentation. · Lead new business proposals for offshore wind farm projects. · Meeting with and presenting to potential clients, partners and industry leaders to promote the services of company. · Responsible for the cost, time and resource estimates, detailed technical proposal write-ups and proposals completion
· Construction and Installation experience in offshore wind · Good understanding of contracts
· Knowledgeable (but not necessarily expert) across whole spectrum of offshore wind · Interest and availability to work long term in the far east at a future date an advantage · Excellent communication, interpersonal and social skills · Leadership skills and management experience · Commercial awareness · Motivated team worker, encouraging the best from all involved · Confident and outgoing individual · Strong work ethic · Ability to multi-task · Flexible to travel in UK and working away from base office
