Instrumentation Testing Engineer

Looking for an Instrumentation Testing Engineer to contribute in Seismic acquisition Instrumentation testing aspects for our clients in-house developed autonomous underwater drones known as Ocean Bottom Seismic robotic Vehicle.
You will be:
- Self-driven to deliver quality Instrumentation testing and can meet deadlines with confidence.
- Have a proactive attitude and a professional approach in working with cross-disciplinary teams
- Excited to learn and equip themselves with new skills and technologies.
- Are willing to travel domestically and internationally within the company to support testing and trials.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
- Ocean Bottom Seismic robotic Vehicle.
- Seismic acquisition system hardware Installation and setup.
- Seismic acquisition system software installation and setup.
- Operating Ocean Bottom Seismic Robotic Vehicle Seismic acquisition system during lab tests and sea-trials.
- Conduct seismic sensor characterisation test measurements.
- Conducting seismic sensor circuit timing delay test measurements
- Active participation in Ocean Bottom Seismic robotic Vehicle integration tests.
- Helping in cabling and connector termination for the prototype tests.
- Provide on request full details of the seismic acquisition system equipment list to aid shipping to and from the trials.
- Provide full details of seismic acquisition system power requirements to aid trial preparations
- Adhere to compliance with the company's technical standards and SEG standards.
- Ocean Bottom Seismic robotic Vehicle seismic acquisition system support by direct participation in sea trials offshore.
- Participate actively in maintaining the Geophysical module and Seismic acquisition system Inventory.
- Adhere to HSEQ compliance requirements during lab and trial tests.
- Take part in enhancing seismic acquisition system technical documentation with system installation, configuration, testing and implementation user guides.
Your Skills Knowledge and Experiences:
- Education level - BSC or MSc in electronic engineering, computer science, or similar disciplines.
- Have a good understanding of Analog to analog-to-digital converters (ADC), principles and practices.
- Have some understanding of circuit signal time delays and measurement methods.
- Have some understanding of signal processing, principles and practices.
- Have a good understanding of signal transmission lines.
- Have some understanding of Instrument Tests and sensor signal quality.
