Role:
The Project Readiness Manager (PRM) shall be accountable for the Readiness function on the Projects being executed at Grasberg site.
The role is responsible for working with the Corporate Operational Readiness team and relevant project teams to define and plan the required work and be responsible for the implementation of the plans to position the project to quickly achieve successful and stable operations. This requires coordination across multiple functional groups both within the project and across the company.
The PRM will execute the operational readiness plans and ensure integration of Operational and Maintenance staff onto project commissioning teams and their ultimate transition to lead their functional roles at the operational facility. The PRM remains at the project site/operation until stable business and process operation has been reached.
Preferred Experience:
Multidisciplinary experience with solid understanding of operations and maintenance functions.
Experience with setting up business systems for Greenfield operations
Experience with design and construction of large capital projects
Smelter, Refinery, Acid plant or experience in similar industries

Gather information, conduct analysis and prepare reports and presentations of information to communicate potential issues and concerns as needed on the project. Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule. Identify, determine and communicate design changes, scope changes, schedule slippages and potential impacts and participate in the identification of mitigations. Ensure trends of cost and schedule are identified, well documented and ensure the change management process is followed and communicate and suggest corrective actions Coordinate with cross functional team in project setting, ensure project controls team members are interfacing with engineering, procurement, contracts and construction on concepts and relationships to the scope of work. Manage project baseline process for schedule and participate in progress measurement as well as forecasting of final schedule throughout the project. Ensure all planning is conducted in accordance with company standards and procedures and that schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures are followed. Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend mitigations and potential work-arounds Participate in risk management; this includes identification, documentation, mitigation and tracking of potential risks on the project. Coordinate accounting and financial activities and projects across multiple business units
Assist in preparing management reports and ad hoc requests
Review and perform reconciliations on service orders and purchase orders

Minimum Qualifications
SAP Project module WBS codes review and reconciliation
Experience in technical accounting research, preparing financial statements and related disclosures
Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards (FAS)
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to analyze and interpret root causes of financial results, variances, and financial trends

Makes recommendations to the Project Managers on the mitigation of these risks. Closely monitors and supports remedial actions and recommends appropriate actions.
