Job Summary

Supports the Performance Testing Lab serving as the primary in-house contact for shipping and receiving (all precision instruments used for all on-site Performance Testing projects and misc equipment, consumables, and materials). In this role you will be partnering closely with Services Leader for Order fulfillment: inventory management, procurement of materials, misc. equipment, 5S Program, facilitation of equipment returns, monitoring of equipment returns and maintaining appropriate business systems.

  • Key liaison between Technicians and Warehouse personnel for the selection and packing of instrumentation and consumables for work order fulfillment.
  • Facilitation of all required shipping documentation; packed lists, commercial invoices, custom requirements, and label adherence
  • Monitoring and updating Lab Services Leader for all equipment returns from site, receiving return instrumentation and updates to appropriate systems, including communications with field personnel
  • Maintain inventory management systems appropriately
  • Set and maintain the appropriate Kanban levels providing assurance of the proper inventory management levels (including sourcing and procurement of)
  • Assist with inventory tracking of various components, by contacting our customers and our vendors via email and telephone.
  • Receiving for purchased materials/products and places in the appropriate designated area
  • 5S Maintenance and housekeeping for packing, staging and site locations
  • Communication of defects related to customer order vs inventory availability
  • Leader for Reg Tag area status and dispositioning (equipment which is returned damaged from site)
  • Lead facilitator for Acoustic Kits: Inventory levels, Calibration interval schedules and adherence, vendor liaison for calibrations and rentals, inclusive or order procurement related activities
  • Hazmat Waste Area and forklift checks (additional facility EHS tasks as assigned)
  • Assists with the prepping of equipment to be ready for Calibration
  • Participate in all Quality and EHS Systems training and certifications as applicable to role
  • Conform with and abide by all federal, state and local regulations, company policies and procedures and instructions.
  • Responsible to demonstrate safe operation of all inventory management equipment usage and any duties associated with operation (will train & certify)
